@JuanMacready Hum...really? Your still blaming John Wayne? Foreman was a great screenwriter and High Noon a classic...granted a better film than Rio Bravo..but not nearly as entertaining. Just the way it is. In the 50's the red scare was a frightening thing..but so was communism to most Americans. Why is it ok that Foreman puts his political views in films but not someone else?

I just know I enjoy the film. That is all I want out of either of the films at this point of my life.
