  • what a shit ad for the navy I mean really..

  • sent my application off today :)

  • i had a dream ursa from superman 2 said somethign about the navy then she said about one of the naval officers" put a destroyer in his pants"

  • the sheer bordom of it.

  • @210482fmj Compared to being stuck in an office from 9 til 5

  • how old do you have to be?

  • @iiReganxx 15 and 9 months

  • what about officers?

  • I would give my left bollock to join the Navy. Seems I can't though due to having asthma. Does anyone know if there is anyway round this ?

  • @dannyb1314 buy a powerbreathe off amazon it helps strengthen your luns from asthma

  • @dannyb1314 Im not 100% sure, but i think if its on your record they wont be too happy with it, ask a navy recruiter though

  • And if you're successful....

We'll show you how to go about giving in to foreigners.

  • The Navy? The Royal Navy? Ever hear of the Royal Air Force? Better yet, ever hear of Lt Col Charles Halt and the Rendlesham Forest incident?

You talk to the MOD and they'll tell you everything, dudes!!

  • I suffer from quilitus. Which is brought on from over eating. Sometimes i have to taker tablets for it. Wil this stop me from joining?

  • I want to join but my arm muscles are quite frankly pathetic and I'm not going to try and join till my I have enough muscle to at least get through basic training. Any tips? Plus what kind of job training can I do?

  • @madmanninc Mate iam in the navy and physically Raleigh is a piece of piss. You have to about 22-25 press ups in a about a minute to pass the physical strength test. Easy mate, Also you have to do a 2.4km run and be able to swim 30yards but that too is easy unless you are terribly unfit. Besides which from getting accepted in the RN and starting Raleigh is usually a couple of months wait you can work on your PT then.

  • @ADZ01982 WELL DONE MATE...... IM THINKING OF JOINING, IM 21 IN 4 MONTHS AND IM AND DEFO GUNA GO TO THE CAREERS OFFICE B4 I HIT 21..... IM A BIT WORRIED ABOUT THE WAITING LIST THOUGH I HOPE IT AINT TO LONG I WANA GET IN THE A.S.A.P.....

  • super gay!!

  • im ex army and thinking of joining the navy, is it a good crack in there and is there many good places you get sent to, just wana get out of this boring country

  • u missed out all the drinking lol...

  • The Royal Navy is what you make it. Im time served with medals and an invite to the queens garden party, woopee wow. They give me a life that i like and friends i will never forget. My nephew is in training as we speak and im sure he will have fun.

  • @AsadGstar once you join you have upto 6 months to decide whether its for you or not if you decide to stay on its a minimum of 4 years =] x

  • @vickybabe2006 thanks x

  • Rule Brittiania

Loving the last picture aswell haha

  • May I just ask........why is there a photograph of American special forces being beasted at 27 seconds........??? Ordinary royal navy sailors don't do this! These look like US Navy Seals or perhaps US marines (which I know aren't as special as the Royal Marines!) But still.....

  • i just laughed when it said change you from this then showed chavs then said into this into a respectfull soldier (navy)

  • whats the music at 1:13?

  • LOL @ people lying about being in the military. Just join FFS.

  • keevan2007 tell me your branch and name and ill find out if your in the navy or not, your full of bullshit.

  • join the Army

    the real millitary

  • @Porkchop9950 royal marines!!

  • @Porkchop9950 You meen the FODDERS

  • @Porkchop9950 Maybe people don't want to join "the real military". Maybe they want to join an organisation which is designed for policing the oceans. If they wanted to get blown up by IED's, they'd join the army I'm sure.

It's like royal marines who complain that navy sailors don't know about war and that they should try real fighting for a change......but why? Would you ask that to a guy who took an office job in civvy street? No, it's because that person decided not to join a fighting force.

  • join the Army

    the real millitary

  • so you were dumn out fits

  • @Porkchop9950 I don't think anyone takes offence to that as you can't even spell haha..

  • You need to be 16 years and 6 months to join up. If you want to see if it is for you try joining your local Royal Navy Reserve Unit (RNR) as we do the exact same job as the full time RN we are classifed as Part Time Royal Navy. Where abouts are you from?

  • does any one know how old you need to be im 15 and i want to join

  • @ConorJamesDavies when you are 15 and 9 months you can apply but cant start basic training untill 16, that what it is for the rm so i presume its the same for the rn

  • Joining the RN this year as an AET. Bo!

  • i passed my interview last week and am joining as a communications and information specialist anyone know how the waiting list is for that particular job? cheers.

  • cousin has been on the list a few months its around 2 years for a weapons engineer

  • does anybody no the waiting list for a weapons tech? i heard its rather large lol cheers

  • im goin in as a mechanical tech on the 16th may ... shitting it!! o and the waiting list at the mo is 13 months goes my mate is trying to join

  • any1 know how long the waiting list for the air engineering technicians r?

  • Hey, im applying for that soon, i heard AET takes 13-15 months roughly, could be more could be less.

Good luck boss, ive got my RT test on the 17th.

  • Im joining as an AET in May, I passed my interview in June so its taken me 11 months

  • @tomoswindsor Good luck with basic! I just recently passed my RT for AET, can't wait to start!

  • Im taking the tests on 2nd march.. then if all goes well.. medical then the fitness ... eeeeep im excited XD

    so basically i've applied XD

  • 20months waiting list for seaman specialist atm

  • Dont join as a sea spec. Seriously.

  • i am going to be calling up tomoz about joining the royal navy as a seamen. i really nervus about calling them but this is wot i want :)

  • @longfordhatesyouxD , i was nervous too but once you have an interview its all cool , there is also a waiting list minimum time is like 5 months i think im not sure , god luck tho :P

  • great video mate.. i know the point your getting at dont listen to these fools.. i know what you meen mate im ex army myself.

  • i hope to join as a Warfare Specialist by the end of 2010

  • Got accepted waiting on date

  • i duno what i want to join, im kinda on the fence about joining the navy or the RAF if anyone could give me any advice thanks

  • depends on what you want to do mate. both services are really good.

  • serioisly you guys need to wind your fucking necks in.

  • keevan2007 you knew what you were in for when you joined the marines! if you dont want to go to afghan or iraq then you really joined the wrong force! i knew what i was infor when i joined the navy. we both made our own decisions.

  • ROYAL NAVY FTW!!

  • whats with all the civilians critisizing the navy? Fucking scum

  • Keevan2007 i imagine that your not in the navy if so you wouldnt leave disrespecting comments like this. no, i will not be fighting first hand but i believe that i can still contribute my skills when i join to help the navy and its personel in anyway, so if you have anything constructive to say then type away, if not then rigth it down on a letter then send it to someone actually cares...

  • gazbopeters, you need to learn how to spell, mucker.

The marine's on board HMS Brilliant during the Gulf 'conflict' in 1991 were good lads, when they weren't fighting,

( the Iraqi's, the Army or themselves)

they made good dance partners for us matelots, who were unfortunate not to fall into the clutches of the bevy of beauties, living next door to the RO's.

P.s. Anyone know if big, black Jack Warner's still in the mob? He was also on the London. Also, Paddy Martin, he was a Killick sparky.

  • gazbopeters88, you havnt got a clue son, when you have got some sea time under your sproggy belt then maybe you will have a right to comment. As for making your family proud then yer fair enough im sure they will be proud of you and they will also have the knowledge that if you go on operation to the gulf you will come back unharmed because your not going out there to fight the taliban, u are going out there to drop the people off who will be. Have fun paintin the bulkheads or scrubbin the bilge

  • you lot are a disgrace to our country and our armed forces, they all play an important role in keeping british safe and helping around the world where needed. i am joining the royal navy in may 2010 and can not wait i will be proud to repersent my country and my family. people like you shouldnt be given spare air to breath when our soliders are dieing for us. so grow up!!

  • i am joining too i cant wait!!

  • 4 words: PUT YOUR NOTICE IN

  • keevan2007 , IF... you are in the Royal Navy you're a disgrace to the uniform . Look on the R .N . website and it will tell you exactly where and what our Navy is up to at the moment as there is too much for me to list here. By the way , the Marines are a branch of the Royal Navy not part of the Army , but if you were actually in the RN you would know that.!!! You had better get back home your village needs its idiot back ..

  • Ofcourse i know the marines are part of the navy u fuckin tool! but a completely different part, marines dont sit about onboard a ship doin fuck all they are out there fightin the war while the sailors are sat 100s of miles away havin a bbq, trust me i know, iv been doin it myself for nearly 5 years. Iv got medals but not for fighting but for cruising about 100s of miles from any danger, once u join a ship u are nothing more than a glorified labourer its bullshit.

  • @keevan2007 an we get paid more than you! choose your branch an suck it in!

  • @staincross61 the marines are part of the naval serive which includes the navy, the marines and the RFA

  • Really so the Navy dont need to keep the sea lanes clear from pirates from somalia or places like that? I sudgest you read up on the Falklands. I like many herer think your full of it , why havnt you transfered to the army if you dont think its the millitary?

  • apart from combatting pirates and not dying like fools for the US

  • You should have been in when I was during the falklands when we were getting bombed and losing ships every day. Get some time in before you cackle your fat. Being in just a dog watch and talking crap.

  • @keevan2007 If your country's navy wasn't important why would your government spend such an enormous amount of money on it?

  • Why on earth was a photo of christina aguilera in that slide?

  • Im going to start my basic training in about 2 weeks. And as for the Navy not being important, Unknown, you are full of shit. The Royal Navy is the oldest fighting force and just as important as the rest. And while you're reading up on the Navy, grab a dictionary aswell because your grammar & spelling is terrible.

  • I want to join as a Hydrographic, Meteorological & Oceanographic Scientist. :)

  • Great choice. I served in a Survey Ship from 82 to 84 and it was the best time of my life - even though I was only a Writer. White Navy is the way to go.

    Rick Barnes

  • it will be tough the training, but if your serious about it, fit and can take a bit of shit now and then without looseing your cool it will be piss because its not exactly navy seals or the special boat service just keep telling yourself that when you have to get that bastard crease out of your trouser with your iron or your only on 5 hours sleep and got a long day ahead, 9 weeks is a small time of your life.

  • If i joined the Royal Navy i would wont to be on the ground in Afgan. I woud prefer to do that the be stuck on a ship for however long.

  • If I were you, I would go to night school and learn how to spell and use grammar first.

  • Really really funny video, loved it!

  • Nice video, thanks

  • how hard is the test to pass i want to become a chef

  • i heard the royal navy are mostly not doing water operations at the moment. MOst just joining ground troops. WHatever you join as you still have to join in and fight with a rifle on the ground in afghanistan along with the army, airforce, navy. In many ways all of them are practically the same

  • when you first join up in basic you learn how to fire a rifle and not all of them are off to afganistan its mostly medics and the fleet air arm that are on the ground in afganistan the you have the mariens on the gorund too

  • In many ways they are practically the same??

whatever you join as you still have to join in and fight with a rifle on the ground in afghanistan along with the army.... Are you having a laugh..??

Everyone gets given a rifle for protection - this does not mean you're outside the wire fighting. Go and do some research you pleb.

  • ur such a liar

  • u heard wrong then because actually the royal navy arnt even involved fully only the airforce and the army are fighting properly

  • Unknown Hero228 I'm afraid you have heard wrong . What Service are the Royal Marine Commandos with if its not the Royal Navy? All three of our services play a part over there just because they are not spoken of all the time does not mean they're not fully involved .

  • you are so totally wrong. just recently a female medic was honoured in the news for saving the life of a british army rifleman.

the female medic was from the ROYAL NAVY.

she was next to him when he was hit, and gave him CPR while the bullets were still flying.

The navy get involved in loads of stuff that we never get to know - just because its not on youtube doesnt mean it doesnt happen.

cant believe im an ex para and defending the navy.... :-)

    nah, you guys are alright.

  • You are ALL alright ! Wouldn't want to swap any of our armed forces Light Blue, Dark Blue or Khaki. They are the best of us and give us something to take genuine pride in. As for our "Unknown Hero 2008" every village needs it's idiot.

  • o yeah? well how come this story convieniently came a week AFTER a herioc medic in hellmand saved the lives of 4 soldiers while she had shrapnel in her back, in which she STILL was able to do her duty, no offence, but most of the royal navy are a bunch of losers because their buttered up and sent to sea for a month and i mean this, thos who got captured by iran were total douch bags!

  • You guys should watch Hornblower, and Sharpe.

  • fucking dickhead, you wouldent have the guts to join any armed service, you just sit at home and critisise

  • Just think yourselves lucky you got in ok,, you all do a great job your all needed and although the public are grateful the government will drop you like a stone when you leave,, enjoy it no matter where you serve.

  • what's wrong with you guys? seriously lol

We need the army and the navy both as equal

think about it, if we didn't have navy, where would the army get supplies and strong air support from.

And if we didn't have army who would fight in the countries?

I do think the army should definately get more pay because they are in a lot more danger than the navy, but i am joining the navy because you see a lot more of the world and it would seem to be more interesting.

  • actually i have to correct u there, thats the rfa ur talking about there, who dont get enough recognition for all their hard work. : )

  • Let me correct you their then, It's the "RAF"

  • Comment removed

  • civiys dinni ken fuck all

  • And it seems you don't know how to use a spell checker, so i guess most still know more than you do.

  • Regardless of what branch you serve in all are eqaul when "total war" begins, all rely on each other. Furthermore I come from a strong military family serving in the Royal Air Force, Royal Navy and the Army and all of them respect one another.

  • lol respect each other lol you should join and see what they say about each other equal bullshit the rank system wouldnt work if that were the case.

  • you lot sound like girls no the army better no the navy better who fuckin cares 2 differnt things we need them both navy have the marines witch owns most army regments and they need boats dont they and we need men to fight in the front so army is hard and navy is to so jog on and get a life respeact as well u cock suckers

  • fuck you, two blokes from either forces having a banter, you are not in either, just a little civie cockend, piss off and stop trying to act like you know something

  • talk about respect. you're supposed to protect civilians, not ridicule them. and if a superior were to see this kind of treatment of civilians - recipe for disaster.

  • lmao, shut up, you have obviously never met anyone in the infantry before, get a grip, a ballbag is a ballbag civie or not

  • well said buddy mind ur fucking buisness u civvy cunt!!!

  • i hate civiy's

  • sad jack bastard

  • haha fair 1

  • At the end of the day all of the Armed Forces turn a wheel in a big machine. I think people in more combat orientated roles should get higher pay (Army, Marines, Air Force ground forces etc. But having hostilities between all of the different parts of the forces is stupid. Your all on the same team and should show each other some respect.

  • if you can't take a joke you shouldn't be in the fuckin job. their is no hostilities between the armed forces. 1 the army are all pongo cunts. 2. marines stands for Mussels are required intelligence not essential and the raf Are civiy cunts in uniform 9to5 dolly parton's

  • A RN rating was killed during a bar fight with a royal marine not long ago. It goes beyond a joke sometimes. I dont see the point in it.

  • Gang of butt pirates? >>

  • Yeah, and my balls are made out of diamond

  • the countless videos of yank sailors on here shitting themselves when they finally realise there are waves in the sea says otherwise

  • join the army dick wad

  • what job would you recommend me doing if i am active an like being outside i like the aircraft handler and seaman spec##????

  • I love the "It's not for everyone" then a woman.

  • yeah you like that...women might do better than men that's why you are amused cuz you are threatened by us.

  • funny thing about raleigh is they give u the how to deal with stress lecture at the end of the course.lol!

  • anyone who thinks the navy is a challenge especially phase 1 is mistaken cheers easy

  • Says the all knowing expert.

  • well i have been there u stupid cunt

  • No you haven't. You're an angry 17 year old that got rejected due to lung scarring, and now has to live on his council estate with his 450 pound mother. Back in your hole.

  • id rather not be an officer in my view they are all cunts especially the sprog cunts like urself

  • ..No, you're a dumbass, and were never in the navy. Just die.

  • ETME1 Dawe shipmate hms ark royal ships company so fuck u how can u get in the navy with cancer anyway?

  • dawe was a fucking homo with aids, he died doing what he loved most, bumming men, you cannot be him due the whole being dead thing, i do not contest the fact that you are carrying aids, but you are not my beloved dawe :(

  • maybe i have got aids from shagging ur mum the dirty whore id love u to beon the same ship as me son then id fuck u n spread my clap

  • lmao, yeah i bet you would you little arse raping cunt. aw little faggot hiding in his ship, id tear you a new arse hole you mong, whats with you navy pricks thinking you're the mutts nuts? thats why you go getting your heads caved in down in pompey by your cock sucking bootneck overlords.

  • well it werent me and thats all i care about son u in the army? haha thick cunt u go to iraq while i go to florida jog on

  • what a prick you are, calling people son when you're only 22 according to your profile. World news update for you, obviously been in that tin can sucking dick for far to long: we have pulled out of iraq. Guess you mean afghan, the reason i joined, to actually do something worth while instead of cleaning floors and bobbing around in the sea making out that you're a hard man because you're in the navy doing jack shit. wow! Pathetic little man

  • doing jack shit fair enough but getting paid more and going to exotic places haha enjoy though SON

  • lol, and how the fuck wud u know that ur getting paid more silly fucker? what BOAT you serving on kid?

  • cunt. hope you never need a matelot casevac. ignorant tosser

  • get spelling right before calling someone ignorant, tosser x

  • You know 40% of the people serving in afghan are RN/RM? Most of the helicopters and engineers are deployed from RN squadrons? All 3 CHF squadrons are permanently deployed out there plus various others. Do a bit of research before you run your mouth next time!!

  • shut the fuck up, iv no need to do any research because i was fuckin around, sad bastards like you takinn it all seriously, yes im fully aware thanks, iv just got back! prick!

  • you're the sad bastard slating every fucker in the RN, the 3 services work as a team with specilisation in different areas. Prick? You're the prick who can't hold a decent argument without swearing and insulting other people. What is your actual job???

  • im not guna carry on arguing with some sad fuck over youtube son, as i just said, i was fuckin around, its what the forces do, get over it x

  • Comment removed

  • So you can look down a sight and pull a trigger? Who can't?!! I bet you're not even a marksman!! I could have guessed that by the way you hold a conversation, anyway, just remember, RN helicopters do most of the casevacs, and most of the medics are RN. Think in future before opening your mouth.

  • easy for you to say sat safely behind your computer, yeh, very easy to fire a rifle, ever tried doing it while rounds are coming back the other way? how about you think before you speak, infantry are doing a cracking job out there under shit circumstances, RM are doing the same, yeh, they can pull a trigger too! but who cant ay. no, most of our casies were yank, and most of the medics i came across were TA or regs.

  • and just to update you, thats the whole point in the forces, killing people, all about pulling triggers, dont forget, im there making sure you can safely bad mouth me online, who the fuck are you to lecture me on things you have no experience of. once youv been on the front line come back and talk x

  • Yet according to other comments you've made on Youtube you're in the TA. Wind your neck in you throbber.

  • mickeymad83. I.m glad someone else is defending the RN . I get fedup with people not recognising the job they actually do .

  • I would like to see you go through phase one of Dartmouth and call it easy!!!

  • dartmouths for cunts

  • that must of been why I saw your mum there then!

  • sorry, but i must say i hope your never on my ship, thobbing. and if your ever down my mess iam going to give you so much shit

  • the royal navy is shite

  • lol at terryfukwit's comments, go brown nose some more booties, they are kool, yes, but, I'd rather choose the extra cash each month..I mean, it's not patrioticy that keeps me in my job underwater....it's all about the cash...more cash makes me a happy guy ;)

  • But obviously didn't pass the verbal ability section of the psychometric with 100% ;)

    Patriotism, my good man!

  • Comment removed

  • I work in an AFCO - it's looking more like 18 months for some branches at the moment!

  • I don'tthink everyone in the navys a chav

  • It's a great word then.
