Just watched this anime last month: My first impression was "gah, old stuff!". Then later, "...so poetic, deep and tragic! How can love be so extreme?" -> almost crying

And that Iason's voice...His whispers...gave me shivers...

And then, I read that his seiyuu died in 2000...R.I.P. Kaneto Shiozawa...

It's amazing how much emotion and characterization they can fit within only two episodes. Nowadays animes take hundreds of episodes and they're still can't reach the same level that ANK did. Truely a classic, not only a yaoi story, but a love story for any true anime fan...<33
