@SailorTaurus we are trying a new control scheme designed for touch screens and a focus on "button-mashing" The game is designed with this in mind, so we might add some back/forth movement later on in development (at least for keyboards, xperia plays, wii-motes and other controls)
Looks very very cool! I can't wait for testing this. :p
But the ship seems to be very slow than in R-type. :/

Can't you move backwards and forwards as well, like in most other side-scrolling shmups?
