This is WONDERFUL. I really enjoy how you have managed to merge old and new to come up with something unique. As children we usually became frustrated with how hard it is to draw well with this toy. Then I see your harness plot a perfect fractal and I'm amazed. Is the language for plotting a bit like LOGO?
For a toy that's quite accurate. With the automated erase feature already there I would suggest setting up a camera and having it render an animation; as long as you keep it away from windows it should turn out beautifully.

It is not at all like LOGO. It is SPIN, an multithreaded programming language developed by Parallax for the Propeller microcontroller.
