I wouldn't call it stealing, there's alot of good white bands. Madness is a white band that gave alot of credit to the original ska artists who inspired them and also played an original version of ska. They even do shows with Prince Buster all the time, Suggs is in this very video. There are white guys who rip other artists off and black guys who rip other artists off. Color doesn't really play a role in how original a singer is. I admit most good music was originally created by blacks though.

So true mate. Aged 18, I was captivated by the '79 revival but have hung on in there ever since .... and expanded my horizons. I may be a peelly-wally Jock but I love the Jamaican sounds.
