@NexusARC According to the lore there are different classes of aliens. The worker aliens are the ones with the indentations on their head. The warrior aliens are the ones with a smooth head. I'm assuming which is implanted depends on how secure the queen feels.

@prototype007 They did, according to an interview with Rebellion there's over ten different trophy kills for each species, and they just only show 2 or 3 in the demo as to not spoil the "awe" when we witness the others. Plus, just look at the kill moves trailer, thats more than enough kills for me haha

Halo ripped off the Alien series and the Predator series period. Johnson's based off the black Marine from Aliens. And the Elites are technically the Predators. I suppose the Flood are technically the Aliens since they are parasites too and they also build hives. And obviously, a lot of the vehicles do resemble some of the ones seen in Aliens. Especially the Pelican.

Predator should easily have noticed that alien walking under him on the walkway, so stupid. and the fight between the predator and predalien in the end of the movie sucked so much ass, basically they just tackled eachother alittle and then just held eachother as if they where exhausted like some amateur boxers, and dont even get me started on the SLOW ASS MOVING of predators head when dodging the predaliens mouth-bite-thingy

I heard in an interview on Gamespot that they're taking that approach. =O They said the story will be set in the future of course on a colony planet where marines find a pyramid...and so on, etc. I liked the AvP movies; especially the first. I only hope they know what they're doing. I gotta bad feeling that they're going to upset alot of AvP game fans; especially the AvP 2 fans. Seeing as how Rebellion didn't make that one...eh =/

That's what I thought too, until I thought. Alien relies on cooridinated group attacks, and fights for the survival of the species and the queen. Predator usually goes it alone, and relies on gadgets so he can get a trophy. Fighting for your mother and family: that's real honor I think.

I don't know about AvP1 (the one that Rebellion made in 1999), but I know that in AvP2 (by Monolith) face huggers were playable both in the campaign and in multiplayer. In Multiplayer, they were vulnerable, but it was a one hit kill scenario that let you then spawn with one of the different alien classes depending on who you face hugged.

AVP2 has so far about 500 maps for it and a large number of mods so if it is anything like AVP2 or AVP was it will be huge. if you have the xbox magazine, you'll see that there are different predators with different bios (masks) and theres different marines too. I even see a few drone aliens (round smooth heads) and some warrior aliens too (jagged and spiked kinda) so, there may be some characters to choose from or full customization. Hope this helps.
