It's like, once that label has been bestowed upon you, any attempts made to branch out will not be taken seriously. Her subsequent 2 albums after "Finally" were clear attempts to establish CeCe as more than a dance artist, but unfortunately to no avail.
I loved this song back in the day. I think Cece is fantastic singer. She has got that strong voice that so many are misssing today. The real talent is silent in the music industry & those that are singing don't get the recognition they deserve. She was ok not the best looking or most inshape. her voice was OK not as great as everyone trys to make her. But her music for the day was new yet classic. her blend of club music w/ smooth R&b is what really set her apart. Lisa Standfeild is a much better(all around) in the same genre
