Over the past 4 years we have been only 1 - 2 games away from getting there so YES WE ARE STILL IN CONTENTION. The recruiting has improved a lot under Bobby P. and this isnt the only year we have done any good. We arent contending as often as lsu but we have been there plenty of times. 2006 is a great example. That team is like many of the recent lsu teams. Good at almost every position except quarterback.
