Ashkenazy so obviously enjoys playing this ! Love his interpretation. I saw him play whilst conducting the Halle Orchestra in the 70's-it was spellbinding.The orchestra held him in great esteem,i think.
Although Woody Allen is a clarinetist, I don't think that was him because he plays jazz rather than classical music and he was busy as a playright and an actor in the 1970's.
he kind of reminds me of the mozart we see from amadues, the way he bows .
