This video... lol I can appreciate teh attempt at humour here. But that cement mixer didn't sound anything like a Ducati. lol Too bad though, would have been cool if it did. haha

If any of you base your opinion of Ducati sound without hearing one up close and in person, then you really should reserve judgement, until then. It sounds amazing in person, and all the youtube videos do not do it justice, in my books.

Il mondo è bello perchè vario, ed anche i video, tutto sta nella fantasia di chi li realizza e nelle capacità critiche di chi li guarda. La Ducati produce bicilindrici per dna dal 1971 (se ricordo bene) mantenendo fede agli schemi costruttivi originari evolvendoli di volta in volta, un motore Ducati è quasi vivo e bisognoso di attenzioni, quelli Giapponesi sono fenomenali ma strutturalmente tutti uguali, sempre simili fra loro.

La cilindrata è dovuta a derivazioni da regolamenti SBK ad esempio.

@Wulftube My father had two cement mixers with Petter diesel engines and they sounded significantly better than yours. We also took the greatest care with them and painted them in racer blue paint, although slightly ahead of our time it was in stealth matt. A potato-potato-potato Harley would never compare to one of our mixers. No way sir.

Dry clutch actually makes sense when you think about it, unless you like clutch dust particles in with the oil.
