the only game winners the bulls hit were the 90's. lakers had jerry west one of the clutchest players of all time hitting tons of game winners in the 60's. magic johnsons game winning hook shot against celtics in game 4 of 87 finals. plenty more game winners they had in 80's. no team is even close to having the amount of game winners lakers have had their whole existence.

lakers came from back from being down 15 points to begin the 4th quarter of game 7 of 2000 wcf against blazers, and won. came back from being down 24 in game 4 of 2002 wcf against the kings, came all the way back and won by horry's gw 3. lakers are historically a clutch team. kings are historically the biggest chokers in the nba. not just 99, but 02, peja airballed the possible gw 3 of game 7 of the 2002 wcf...lmao. best shooter in the nba at the time ariballing the biggest 3 of his life

also in 2000, kings had a 41-29 record, but choked down the stretch of the regular season and finished 44-38 and dropped all the way back to the 8th seed barely squeezing into playoffs. where they would then lose to lakers in 1st round. i can come up with millions of times kings have choked. the kings cheated to win game 5 of 2002 wcf. so it evens out even though game 6 was rigged

One more thing, Todd Fuller cost the Jazz an early first round win. In game 3, he had a chance to put the Jazz up in the final seconds, I believe, from the line and missed the free throws. Jazz win there, win this one and they get more rest to prepare for the Blazers.

A few things...

1. It's easy to forget when the score was not visible during the entire game. It only came up when the teams scored, during stretches of no-scoring, or in the final minute.

2. I remember screaming in happiness when Stock hit his shot. An amazing win.

3. The stretch to end the season for the Jazz was complete crap. I've never seen anything like it and set the Jazz up for failure in the playoffs. Of course, going 5 with the Kings didn't help any.
