I flew Delta last week and was SO HOPING that Deltalina would be the f/a. My idea of a perfect flight would be to have Sully Sullenberger in the cockpit and Deltalina in the cabin. Oh my gosh---wouldn't that be great? But I guess it would require another merger. Oh well.

I think that dekta sould change the polocies about peanut allergies. I talked to a represenative on the phone and he could not confirm that they would not serve peanuts on that flight. the same happened to NWA AFTER they became buisness partners

Georgia is big in the peanut industry; I don't see how Delta would stop serving peanuts cold turkey.

I understand that peanut allergy sufferers have severe reactions to the product (even if it is merely in close proximity); at the same time I don't think many airline passengers and the Georgia peanut industry would be pleased to see a total ban on serving airline peanuts.

Maybe someone could say "I have an allergy" to the airline and they could see what to do on those particular flights

I flew with Monarch last year and easyJet this year. On both inward and outbound flights with these companies, we were told a passenger had a nut allergy and that nuts would not be served on board and that passengers should refrain from eating them. I'd be amazed if Delta didn't do the same!

Also the lights can turn on if there is heavy smoke

The pilot at the beginning is the Captain, and the pilot at the end is the First Officer. You can tell by looking at the epaulets. CAs have four stripes, and FOs have three stripes.

Yes, Ipods are allowed. Put may only be used after the seat belt sign has been switched after take off and also before landing.

I chuckle and laugh out loud EVERY time I see the segment where Deltalina (the female flight attendant) wagging her finger disapprovingly at the prospect of a passneger actually "SMOKING" in-flight (this scene starts at 1:50 in the video). OMG... how condescending!
