  • I'm the biggest coonass theyr is me and my unlce bo

  • All coonasses wear New Balance I swear. lol

  • @RememberSoCal In Louisiana, there's no cost for the actual tags, which are issued to gator hunters who are land owners, or lease holders. The hunter has a yearly license fee, and the number of tags issued depends on the size and layout of the land, which has to be classified as wetland habitat. There's a tag lottery for public wetland hunting areas, and guided hunts for residents and non residents. There's license and guide fees, but the state doesn't sell the actual tags.

  • Good job guys! That's one piece of HUMAN OWNED property that's safer now. I stress that because these idiot anti-hunters would rather other wildlife, you, your dogs, and your kids be in danger by letting gators overpopulate. Like we humans are just supposed to say "oh well, the gator's life is more important, so we'll just be at his mercy." They don't "get" it that there's actual research, logic, and law behind legal alligator hunting. They may not value human life, but we do. Congratulations.

  • @MrTexasjaguar I think they meant this was the longest alligator on record for the 2010 gator season. You're right though, the all time record gator from Louisiana was 19 feet 2 inches. I don't know if it was ever weighed, but I think it was estimated to be somewhere over a ton. Could be a ton and a half, as you said. In fact, it's the largest known American alligator, anywhere. It was killed on Marsh Island in 1890, by Ned McIlhenny, the founder of Tabasco sauce.

  • Just so everyone is aware the longest gator ever recorded in Louisiana was 19 ft 2 inches and weighed a ton and a half I think. The length is correct but the weight might be a little off but just so everyone knows the longest one was over 19ft.

  • i wonder how many BB's that thing took

  • Holy crap

  • I love it " Hey MoM can you bring me my gun" Awesome!! Great Stuff I love LA. and its people!

  • I moved to Eugene Oregon last year and found a store up here that not only sells alligator meat(King Kreole brand) but also slap ya mamma!!!...oh and by the way, in the summer theres tres bon crawfishn...whoda taught!!!

  • If you do not live on the river or bayou along the Gulf Coast you might not realize the problem alligators can be, particularly with pets and livestock. I have been told a gator can smell a dog a mile away.

  • You said the dog was killed by the gator? So he has been in his home for a long time and you felt your family had the right to remove hi by death so you could "play" by the bayou. BS. You wanted to make a video to get your 15 mins! We are a dangerous species and dont deserve the powers we have.

  • @jimmydetail11 You are an idiot.

  • Couldn't believe it when I saw Aunt Del post the pictures. Soo glad your dog is okay and no one was hurt. Love the picture of them all sitting on his back!!

  • Classy Cajuns!!

  • Who was the camera man???? Stevie Wonder???

  • @GeauxElliott No doubt.

  • Was the gator killed for the meat? Was it a danger? Or just killed for the hell of it?

  • @eddysroom hello no the alligator, had jumped out of water and grabbed my dog two weeks prior to alligator season opening while my son and i and his friend were fishing by the boat dock. We did not really want to kill him, but we fish and play along the bayou and he has been there a long time but after that my father and wildlife and fisheries gave us an alligator tag to hunt him. Yes we did keep the meat to eat later in the year and the gator is being stuffed for the kids. Thank you
