  • Looks nice

  • Hamilton - the Wrost watch I ever own - only last for 3 year then need a major overhaul. Can't stand heat. Will cost you $300-400 just for regular maintance

  • i love this watch. i was undecided on the black dial or white dial. i ended up buying both. i wear this watch watch to work and even wear it when i dj. i hands are constantly moving. dont be afraid to wear it. its feels like a tank! just recently bought a breitling skyracer! but its on back order and should be on my wrist in time for my birthday.

  • I've had 3 watches with the Valjoux 7750 having this malfunction: Start the chronograph, then stop it without resetting it to zero. While the chronograph seconds & minute subdials remain stopped, the hour subdial continues to advance along with the movement. If you're trying to collect a series of intermittent time measurements, this can mess you up. None of mine with this malfunction did it every time- only randomly. The only correction is to overhaul it (expensive). What's up with that?

  • @arkom63 That is NOT a malfunction. That type of movement includes the STOP and GO Cronograph feature. So, what you have to do is push out the Hour-Date bezel and use de cronograph pushers to set them to zero again.

  • Does anyone know where to get the bracelet for this? I own the watch but can only find leather or canvass straps for it...

  • I have this watch with the black rubber strap as seen in the movie "I Am Legend". Very large watch, I wear it to work every day. Sadly, I dropped it on tile last week and it's in Chicago being repaired.

    Currently wearing Ventura XXL.

  • This particular one cost about 1000.

  • Nice review, please do one of the SKYLAND AVENGER.....

  • you went the whole review without even showing us how the extra crowns work!

  • I explained it, i just didn't turn them.. the result is not all that remarkable.. the chapter ring simply turns...

  • I own this piece and love it. It's my beater watch but it's utilitarian design, robust construction and weight have made it a watch I love to wear outdoors. It's great on a number of straps and has strong wrist presence. Good buy. Good review!

  • dont you have to be careful w/ a automatic ? i own automatic's and afraid im gonna break em if i wear em outside(like sports and working)?

  • I've never neen overly careful with this watch, having worn it during my hike on the Appalachian Trail this year. It's a petty robust watch. Quality automatic watches are designed to sustain a certain amount of shock and continue to function, after all.

  • thks for the reply ! i also wear mine outside and for work. i just worry sometime's . i dont wear quartz's anymore. somethin bout a true automatic. i dont like them eco drive thingy's either lol. cool to hear from someone who wear's a hamilton. i got a khaki field 42 mm chrono 7750. it runs great !

  • got one! great watch.

  • As always one amazing review!!! Great watch there ... Hamilton is a brand that offers really good value for money!

  • nice watch i just got myself and old original seiko quartz chronograph watches one of the firsdt chronograph watches ever made it has one crown and three buttons and like this hamilton the crown is on the left side so it alot more confortable than my other watches.
