Very awsome car indeed. im a VW man but i have to give it up to the creator of the Shelby Aero SSC that car has the guiness world record beating the Veyron. and has a V8 costs quite a bit less check it out im convinced its the best production car out there.

It is not hard to build a car beat Veyron speed wise. SSC Ultimate Aero needed more horsepower (1183) , the original (supercharged version) couldn't do it with its 1064hp despite its weight advantage. Problem with having a 6.3L V8 engine with more torque power is the shorter life than an engine with more cylindes at the same size. Build quality and high level engineering make a lot of difference which is why no current "Veyron beater" cars can claim.
