@ZSNES1994 Magicka is more or less revolving around a simple playstyle. You spawn, nuke the living snot out of everything with spells out of up to five elements you need to make up on the fly and hope you beat the boss. Friendly fire is on, you can hurt yourself and your allies with your spells.

@MrMinequake It's totally worth it (there's a demo btw). You can wait for it to be on sale though. In my experience, this game is like new every time for a long time (since you can try so many different things. It's challenging enough and you don't have a level system + inventory (this really speeds up the game due to lack of grinding/farming).

@worldsentropy could be a driver problem.. the game starts with kind of a cutscene that follows up to the menu so you could also have outdated media drivers, flash maybe? no idea what format it plays in.

@worldsentropy Not completely sure but my friend had a similar problem so he just didn't care for the game for like 2 months and recently when he tried it again it worked (he had cleaned his computer and reinstalled the drivers during those 2 months because he had a lot of viruses) so im guessing that's the problem. I'm no expert so don't take my word on this topic lol.

Quick question: When a friend picks up the spell Grease it disappears and the other doesn't get it. How to get it both?

Does it stay with you once you complete the level and thus have to replay the same level for the other player(s) to get multiple copies of the spell?
