Superbe, bravo. J'ai passé à travers le Missouri en auto avec un ami et ce dont je me souviens c'est de ces arbres magnifiques sur les collines, comme ceux que vous avez autour de vous. C'est vert et ça sent bon, la Haute-Louisiane.

These 3-4 vids are excellent. On this number the vocal is sweet, the fiddle playing is outstanding and the guitar has great tone for backing on these tunes (maple? cherry?). I think I'll listen to this again...

Alas, I don't speak French. I feel a little out of place here. Nonetheless, I disagree with the commenter who was disappointed with the vocal. I think the female voice was a nice departure from the original. I usually think of the Les Freres Michot version when I think of this song, but I was impressed with this rendition.

This is a fabulous song. The intro was absolutely superb! - alas, the let down came with the vocal. The song needs a cajun singer like Nathan Abshire ( still the best version I've ever heard ) or maybe Doug Kershaw.
