Beautiful dogs! My hubby bought me a standard poodle last xmas and he is adorable. I do clip him myself and he is so well behaved when he is given a bath.

how much does it cost for trimming?

I want to have standard poodle but cost about 200 USD every month for trimming here in japan,,,, so is still a dream

@hidehi05 It would cost about £35 to £50 but I do them myself so it costs nothing but the cost of the grooming equipment is high £600 for a dryer.

Your poodles are fantastic. I have a 4, 3 minitures and a standard--whose licking my feet as I type. They are the greatest dogs. Two of the minitures are female, apricot and white, and both of the males are black (incl the Standard). Anyway, thanks for posting.

wow it must be expensive to groom them or do you groom them yourselves i have one miniature and i learned because it got too expensive. the standard are beautiful dogs!

i have 1 7 month old standard poodle called harry and if me and my dad had it our way we would have 5 ourselves ......and they are not poofy(lovely gait on your dogs do you show?)

It looks like some of the dogs have a different gate...like they move their left and right feet in sync with each other instead of their front and back feet opposing each other. O_O

I have black miniatures aswell OnFireEvil I have two Alice and Charlie and I too dream of a white standard, but i don't think i should start with the standards because I dont think i could stop at one!

Oh my gosh! Your standards do the weird camel thing too!! (starting at 00:31) I dont know why they do that, its like a cross between a walk and trot, or something. Anyway, I thought only my dog did that. (hes a white standard as well)

The weird camel thing is called pacing. It is a lazy movement but does not mean anything is wrong with the dog. Dogs tend to do it more than bitches.

The standards are so magestic looking, but I'm so used to my minerature poodle, I freak out whenever I see one... they look like grotesquely large ponies to me... or like a huge pinata and if you break it open a 100 mini-poodles will come rolling out.

I have a black and white one. I know they make great company. They have so much motility and spontaneity of gesture. I just let them out and they bolted after a rabbit that was only 14 ft away though. I'll always have standard poodles.
