  • Reamping is a very popular technique. Most the time it will take place after the editing of the tracks and then pumped into the room by itself, sometimes only the kick+snare maybe toms, or if they're sequenced tracks then everything will be amped and rerecorded. Thus this negates the issues with feedback and quantization.

  • This can work out well if ur lucky.if your not lucky the worst case is u just trash the tracks.... or maybe when the tracking is done set up your best room mics in the mixing room and run them to some tube pres and beef it up that way

  • I'm no expert, but this doesn't seem practical in this day and age of plugins and DAWs.

  • @bennyboytx Some people just like analogue...if i could...i would.

  • got to be careful with that - I just watched your video on phase.....

  • what kind of effect will this have on quantization?

  • The mixer will hate you.

  • no feedback problems?

  • @arcanum89 Same thing I thought of just after watching. Or latency ? If no, than I DO believe it sounds HUUUGE.
