If you want to hear what this was ripped off from, type Lifeforce Theme in Youtube and pick the first thing that comes up. Still a great song. i did a double take when i first heard this in Baldurs Gate. i cant believe nobody at Bioware realized how close this is to the Lifeforce theme. The movie is was just over a decade before Baldurs Gate released so its not like the movie is obscure.

Anyways.. the music is still awesome. Baldurs Gate 1 is still great all these years later :)

The IE games : the most intelligent and engaging games ever written for computers. It's a tribute to these games that they've attracted support from so many different countries and from so many different age groups and types of people. It may sound silly but I think I will remember these games until I have no memory left. The individuals (and not just the companies) who made these games ought to be recognized.

not to go too geeky, but its such a pretty games engine with a real timeless quality. sure some bits needed a bit of tweaking, like pathfinding and visual range, but i really dont think you can get much better out of 2 dimensions.

I just noticed this and it depresses me, because Fallout is full of too-close-for-comfort references to Eno and the Aphex Twin, and bits of Torment always made me cringe as a Basil Poledouris fan. The title screen to BG is also taken from Poledouris, I think. The original was used in the original 1:03 teaser for Gladiator, see rZySbGIuUu0.

And sorry but Lifeforce is quite a bit older.
