  • I call bullshit. A hot fire isnt going to smoke. Lets see it as you start the fire and its cold.

  • Of course any fire is going to smoke when first started until all the wood "catches". The point of this video was that the original boiler smoked badly, even after the fire was good and hot, the modified boiler does not smoke once the fire is going good.

  • @smithno41 My outdoor woodstove doesnt smoke when hot unless you chock it down.ANY stove will smoke under those conditions, even gasification stoves

  • See my related video that shows the smoke free chimney, then without any cuts I pan down to the firebox where you can see that indeed, a fire is burning.

  • Can you post details on what you did to reduce the smoke.

  • If you look carefully at the background, you can see the image waving because of the heat from the stack. Yes, I should do another video, in which I show the fire, and without a "cut" pan up and show the clean output from the stack.

  • Smith can you detail your modfication to reduce the smoke

  • OK, I got the message:

There is no smoke without any fire? ;-).

  • That is one of the best videos I have ever seen. Next time you should show that there is a fire burning in the furnace. Other than that, what a clean burning furnace.
