@brucenash Fabio is a tenor voice. The baritone voice requires much darker timbre. Search for the popular aria "largo al factotum" from "Il barbiere di Siviglia" and you will get an idea of how a baritone sounds. Dmitri Hvorostovsky is a good example of a contemporary operatic baritone. Voices are categorized not only based on range but primarily on timbre, weight and area of comfort. For example, if this particular number was sang by a baritone the low verses would sound much darker.
