  • Wow, so you sort of work in the construction business. My dad works in construction as well so I help him out sometimes. Nice beard btw, I'm sikh so we have alot of respect for people with beards because we dont cut our hair. Im 16 and my beard is half your size and my hair is 4ft long =]

  • Is that a beach boy cover in the back?

  • @MritsHunter Isn't it hilarious? It's "California Girls" as sung by David Lee Roth.

  • @13Danjiri beach boy ha i was torcherd by it by my grandma im only 17 haha

  • @rconlowtank I feel badly for you, but your post was awesomely hilarious! Anyway, I'm sure there are worse fates than being tortured by this really cheesy song. Stay strong!

    -13Danjiri

  • @13Danjiri lol thanks i am still staying strong u stay strong as well brother

  • Hey man. What is the requirements to do plastering? School? I know it might be different where you're from, but it kinda interest me, doesn't look to bad. And one other questions, you do you know of any bands that sing about the kind of medieval stuff, lets say Amon Amarth sings about? "The serpent rises from the waves." Like stuff like that. Thanks! And love your vlog man.

  • what the fuck is that sound in the background

  • @ImBritishYouMuppet

Well I don't know how much it is in English measurements but I am 1,89 meters.

  • @Infidelamsterdam 6 feet and 2 inches of awesomeness, according to my calculations. PS I love your videos, there cool. =D

  • @Infidelamsterdam that is about 6ft and 2,5 inches

  • @Infidelamsterdam its a monster hahaha

  • lol infidel listenen to beach boys xD

  • why does this have so many views? i just doesnt make sense that plastering can be so awesome

  • Why is this so entertaining to watch?

  • Even the Infidel can make plastering Metal.

  • lol mooie kont vlek XD

  • Leuke filmpjes!

  • wow one wall all that time you can not make much money.

  • @beastyboy2008 actually because of the diffulculty and the skill level of the job he gets paid quite handsomely for a laborer since he is in Amsterdam also that is a big factor. here in the US you would only get around 15-20 dollars an hour for it and thats if you are in the union. but it is very time consuming work at times but it is definatly a great stress reliever.

  • @nekon666 i do it in the uk but alot more at one time to make it pay 20 dollars an hour i may aswell work at 7-11 and sit on my arse all day than get 10-20 and work my arse off lol....

  • i cant believe you got almost (later more) 35,000 people to watch a video of you doing your job. props for the video

  • Lol from grunting in Amon Amarth to plastering to the Beach Boys.

  • a master youre having a fucking laff, its for all 2 see the guy should have a holster and hat on , HE'S A COWBOY YOU FUCKING TWATS

  • what the f*ck is this guy doin !!

  • well thats a wall i like to paint x) need more metalheads in building industry \m/

  • you are so good dude! well done

  • This guys a master at this shit!

    doe zo verder kerel!!!!!

  • the epic sequel

  • Good vid mate, you know your stuff

  • seems to come out good despite having to listen to that god awful music your listening to.

  • hi mate sorry for bothering you , but I wonder if you could give me some advice , well I am going to replaster a room and wonder if I 've got to pickaxe a bit the walls for the new plaster to hold to it better or some other tip on how to plaster on a wall wich is already plastered thanks a lot mate

  • You can afford to do this when putting on a small shift. I Had a boss making me do this its pointless !

  • Nice work

  • Mooie video.

    Grtz

  • looks profesional

  • why do you rule it off with a straight edge? seem like your plaster is a bit better to play with than ours or do you let it go off for a bit? ive never seen someone rule off plaster though we just lay on 2 coats then flatten it in, fair play to you man you do make it fly on the walls

:P haha

  • stright up dawg me and you are gonna be fuckin homies no doubt u can go from a chill day at work then home to some fuckin metal HA im fuckin movin to holland haha

  • Where do you get these alloy bars from? And how long do you get to work the plaster before it goes off?

  • Well those bars are sold at iron stores in holland at the plaster sections and it takes about 45 minutes before the plaster is to hard to work with.

By that time yoy should have straitened and devided it.

Cause after that it's only smoothing.

  • Thanks mate, interesting vids.

  • @Infidelamsterdam Think that most of the guys asking you questions here are from UK....tell you somethink quality of work in UK is so bad that to smooth of some walls here you would need to use 25cm of plaster instead of 2,5cm mate...so I don't know why are they asking about where to get straight edge from....they would need a special english bend edge for their walls... hahaha

  • jeez.. from death metal to U2?? and Plastering????

  • straight edge mate

  • So was this a finish coat? or did you put a layer of skim on top? it looks like knauf mp finish but as you said its a think layer/

  • This is the only stuff I use...

I put it on the wall and finish it with the same stuff.

I will make another video in which I will show every step.

  • Awesome thanks. Looking forwards to seeing it.

  • are you going over the dips that are left? i didnt know you could use a straight edge for skimming??

  • Isn't skimming like a really thin layer of plaster on a wall?

Cause this wall was at least 2,5 cm thick to get it straitened out.

  • Knap werk hoor !

    Gewoon beginnen ?

Of toch echt eerst opleiding etc.

Ik hoor het graag van je ! Ik zoek werk vandaar.

    Grtz Gilles

    Succes man..enne..smeerse!

  • oh god, ik heb een stucadoor nog nooit zo goed bezig gezien, groetjes uit urmond :) je bent echt de beste! keep up the good work! als ik op mezelf woon mag jij zeker kome stucadoren! :)

    Groetjes

    Ed

  • And yeah, if I don't wear my hair in a ponytail i will look like a caveman after a day of dust..lol!

    :-p

  • ive just started a plastering course this video is very useful thanks can i use a trowel to smoothen in out or is a feather adge what you have to use?

  • Good job.. What is that stuff?

    Hey Ponytails are coming back!

  • It's a gypsum plaster of the brand 'knauf'.

Knauf is very much used in plastering in Holland.

We use the goldband type of platser from knauf.

Only on concrete we use Rotband from knauf.

  • knaf is a good german firm

  • you is a good spread, we use different materials in England. cheers RontheBuilderxx

  • I'm impressed. I actually enjoyed watching this, too.

  • Tnx for the comment man!

    :-p

    Cheers Ed

  • a feather edge im not sure what you call it up your end ....the allaminium bar you run along the wall to get it smooth

  • My man, doing great work!

    Love you!

  • Love you too baby.

    xxx
