i have to agree, leonard is indeed boring. even tough i understand the purpose of his character, as being the normal one and bringing the plot forward, the acting is just annoying. just pay attention to how often leonard is doing his "nervous-hand-fumbling" gesture...sheldon, howard and raj on the contrary are brilliant!

@Fukctowski Ya, he always "play" with his hands and his head is always slightly back and he always has kinda pathetic face.

Another thing I figured. He always usually wears jacket and underneath always a hoodie. Sheldon ALWAYS wears a shirt and t-shirt over it. Howard on the other hand always wears tight jeans and, very very weird belts- superman belt, batman belt.... and Raj usually wears pullover or sometimes vest :)

Judging by the -5 rating your post has accrued I would say that while some people may agree with you, most do not.

Every show needs the "normal" character for the quirkier ones to play off of. BBT has Leonard and Penny, but Leonard is the main character used this way as he is in more scenes with Sheldon and the other men.

Without him, they would need to bring in another similar character.
