We get more tornadoes here than anywhere else in the entire world, long before HAARP even existed(built in 1993) idiot. But if you don't believe me, why don't you go over to haarp, and climb on top of the radio transmitter and get fried to death, the world would be better off for it.

St. Louis has had more tornado related fatalities than any other metro area in the US, as well as the highest number of destructive tornadoes during spring/winter for a large metro area.. The track of the most recent EF-4 tornado that impacted Lambert was similar to the 1967 F-4 tornado. But yeah, St. Louis doesn't get too many tornadoes if any at all.

St. Louis was impacted by 2 of the top 5 most expensive tornadoes in US history (1896,1927), and the Tri State Tornado, which is the deadliest, longest track single tornado in US history only passed two hours south of St. Louis (1925). It is also a La Niña year, which means that weather patterns will differ slightly, and trend towards a wetter spring in the midwest.
