Great video guys. I love mixed weapons forms. I have long wondered two-sword was acceptable with broadsword. It just makes more sense to me that if you have two arms you best have a weapon in both of them if you know you going into a fight. I look forward to seeing more vids with targe, dagger and two-sword.
It the "Macgregor method" an established fighting syle of mixed weapons of just the name given to this video. If it is an established style can you give more information on it. Thanks.
"MacGregor Method" is the name I have given to a method I teach for applying historical broadsword skills to any weapon or combination, historical or modern. It aims to turn a broadsword fencer into an all around fighter.
Thanks. Two weapons is a definite advantage, but takes a higher level of skill. Two swords was very rare for this reason, and also because it was exhausting to keep doing for long.
