@usbr1975 Here is the info for this song. ORIGINALLY TIME-LIFE. Now R700-01 (EMI Music Special Markets 72434-97063-2-3) - "The Swing Era: Swingtime I" - Billy May & His Orchestra/Glen Gray's Casa Loma Orchestra [1999] (2 CD SET) AMAZON and EBAY are your best bet. The other 2 CD sets are: "The Swing Era: Swingtime II"; The Swing Era: 1930-1936; 1936-1937; 1938-1939; 1939-1940; 1940-1941; 1941-1942; 1942-1945; THE POSTWAR YEARS; INTO THE 50's; ONE MORE TIME; CURTAIN CALL; ENCORE (Not Made on CD)
This is actually very poorly recorded; I arrived here from a soundtrack version from "Sun Valley Serenade" and even with the inferior recording equipment and that it's not in stereo, it's way better recorded.
This has a very poor to almost non-existent soundstage, no natural "spread" on the instruments, a ridiculously recorded string bass and very poor dynamics.
"In The Mood" fenomenal pieza de Joseph Copeland “Joe” Garland y Andy Razaf. Fue grabada por vez primera en 1938 por Edgar Hayes y su orquesta, pero fue el trombonista Glenn Miller y su arreglo quien la impulsó al estrellato mundial.
You mentioned "The SWING ERA Remake of IN THE MOOD". Could you please tell me what CD that is on? I would like to find a copy of this!
Thank You
