No the Bear is a test, you get him in single player, you have to land an absolutely brutal and perfect combo to knock the bear out, as one hit from it and you aren't getting up, this is how one of the characters in the game gets these big scars across his chest, fighting the bear. Dude trust me it was immensely challenging but that one time you nail that ultra brutal and smooth combo and knock the bear out you get that F YEAH! moment
