I remember seeing these guys back in the early '80's (1983 I believe)...they were part of a "Monsters of Rock" tour...they blew the doors off everybody - including Foreigner. They put on a very energetic and polished performance. Who'd a thunk?

Loverboy was the first band i saw in concert on new years eve 1982. It was at the Forum in Los Angeles and the opening act was a little known Bryan Adams, who was on the cusp of releasing Cuts Like A Knife. Loveboy blew me away. The only funny thing about this concert, Motley Crue was performing the same night in nearby Santa Monica and Loverboy was a default concert. I was glad but i was given a mass amount of shit when school started back up again...
