@clumpft then your dad is brilliant. This movie ranks in my top ten of horror films. In my opinion, this movie is better than most of Dario Argento's work.

@ozdan72 Ha ha, that's great, I'll pass that comment on. This film was kinda too arty when it came out, and didn't really get a run in mainstream cinemas. It did win a lot ot awards in European film festivals but then it sort of fell into obscurity for years. You were hard pressed to find it in video libraries in Australia. Then about 4 or 5 years ago, Quentin Tarrantino discovered it, thought it was the bees knees (he's a fan of Ozploitation cinema) and then it was kinda re-discovered.

@brevbd It's available on dvd in australia, but i believe it's been discontinued for some time. Check ebay.
