  • Wow Stu is not selling at all

  • What a treat. Ty for posting.

  • what year was this

  • The old guy Stu Hart is a bit of a handfull, he is extremely hard

  • @LandryKKB Seeing Stu here reminded of that great scene in Wrestling With Shadows where Stu takes the 2 muscleheads down to the Dundgeon and reduces one of them to tears with a basic armlock. Awesome stuff!

  • Wow, Stomper's promo at 0:33 was intense. Really believable.

  • part of my childhood. no matter what we were doing we had to be home at 3 in the afternoon to watch wrestling (no vcr's back then).

  • i think that stu hart should be a realy thought guy

  • @tgfabthunderbird A yellow card is indeed a warning and 3 means a disqualification in Stampede Wrestling.

  • stu was great worker glad they put him in hof

  • Didn't J.R. also manage heel Dynamite Kid in Stampede Wrestling?

  • i have never seen Stu wrestle before this is awsome ! R.i.p Stu

  • No one was selling like they do now, but some of that shit looked like it hurt.

  • oh my, you have brought back my childhood,. didnt know there was anything on old stu hart out there

  • Czaya Nandor made a point of letting Kowalski get the claw hold on him. Czayas claim to fame were his super strength abdominals.

  • Goog : "czaya nandor"+"canoe" for matches

  • Never mind found it - Czaya Nandor. Example: Sandor Kovacs with w/. Czaya Nandor, beat Killer Kowalski & Aldo Bogni by DQ

  • What was the proper spelling of the name of a wrestler on Stampede wrestling who was the only one impervious to Killer Kowalskis claw hold. Im trying to look up his history but cant find the proper spelling. It was pronounced "Shianandor" but could have been spelt numerous ways

  • I totally agree. None of the "Superstars" have any personality. They all talk alike,

    everything. No feeling. So predictable.

  • That's because all the writers are "entertainment" folks. Successful wrestlers and managers used to run companies. Now it's stupid folks who never drew a dollar in the business.

Plus, everything is scripted now. Whereas before, wrestlers had to ad-lib promos.

  • @milkman4eva SO, true. Dusty, the Horseman, etc, sure didn't need a

    script.

  • IDK about you Cadillac, but do you ever get the feeling that Stephanie, ahem, Levesque is ruining wrestling? Because she's responsible for the watering down off WWE.

Her, and Vince Russo are responsible for this crap!

  • Do I ever! I blame Stephanie & Vince. The family has never cared about wrestling. If they can't put a stupid gimmick on the "superstar" forget it.

  • @milkman4eva Most of these so-called pro wrestling writers currently in the WWE couldn't write a fairy tale, which would insult all fairy tale writers!

  • Hell yeah man! Stu didn't look like he was holding back much on those clubbing blows!

  • what year this in could anyone tell me?? 70's?

  • I believe eithe 1983 or 1984. Coz this had to be one of the final matches from Stu's Stampede Wresling!

  • 3:26 that has got to be the laziest, funniest referee pin count ive ever seen in my life.

Stu Hart and Owen Hart RIP

  • first time ive seen stu hart

  • i can't believe I'm watching this!! Stu Hart was the motherfucking man! R.I.P. the father of the greatest wrestler on the planet, Bret "Hitman" Hart!!! And the greatest wrestling family!! Anyone know if Stu Hart and Fritz Von Erich ever wrestled back in the day? I'll bet that would've been a kick ass match.

  • the stomper almost made me think he was really pissed off

  • After the ref bumps is his left arm broken? He's doesn't seem to be selling it after he gets up, it just seems to dangle.

  • man, Stu Hart had some odd body proportions. A full moon indeed.

  • Obviously Stu was in much better shape when he was in his prime. He was old and very out of shape when this match took place.

  • @ctothecman Even if he wasn't in 100% shape then,I still wouldn't have wanted Stu Hart to twist me up like a pretzel!NO THANK YOU!

  • Was Stampede Wrestling the only pro wrestling organization that used yellow and red cards? Was this before the 5 count for a DQ?

  • in all fairness by this time stu was suffering from diabetes but stu in his prime was an excellent amatuer wrestler and played football in the canadian football league was a world war 2 veteran he accomplished alot in life and if u see old pics of stu he is as jacked as a motherfucker

  • Agreed. He was always especially effective when he turned face after a prolonged tenure as a monster heel. He dripped sincerity. I saw it in KC in the mid-to-late 60s before the left, and I've seen it on youtube when his "son" was put out of wrestling in Calgary. One of the greats who could have been used even more effectively.

  • By this time Bret had an incredible series of matches with Dynamite. He wrestled Andre, Race, World title matches with Bockwinkle. He wasn't green. And if you think that Archie 'The Stomper' Gouldie sucked hardcore, then you really don't know much in the history of any of these four men. Even J.R. Foley was a shooter in his prime.

  • Agreed. Archie is a legend in Knoxville, Tennesse(Southeast Championship Wrestling).

His feuds with Ron Garvin, Ron Fuller, Ricky Gibson, and Jos Leduc are classics. Bloody!!! Very Bloody!!! Archie made jobbers bleed on TV on a weekly basis. Archie put the H in Hardcore.

  • @CrunkChipmunk bret wasnt green at this point. hed had 2 tours of japan under his belt and years with stampede wrestling. and stu and jr was just a total shoot

  • hey tumbs up on adding a serious peace of Wrestling historie too the youtube wrestling hall of fame !..

hats off too old stu hart an also his famile past and present his leagacy has not died but has evolved into a never ending saga,ie stampede whestling, dungeon, mat rats an will be one of the worlds preimer talent rosters for generaitions too come (BEST THERE WAS BEST THERE IS AND BEST THERE EVER WILL BE !!!!!)... thanx for the memories keep ehm coming !!... : ravenchildxxx

  • Wow! Stu must be over 65 here. Good for him,

    Thanks for posting.

  • man oh man..was this before Bret entered WWF???

  • yellow card? which rules were they using here?

  • Holy shit, look how young Bret was back than
