@richmanfury He sounded very good on the albums, I agree. He also sounded rather good live in the earlier years of DragonForce. However, I'm glad that he's out of the band now. The man had such a good voice, but took such bad care of it. Now much of his singing is breathless and weak. For comparison, listen to "Fury of the Storm" from the 2005 DVD performance, and from "Twilight Dementia". The difference in the voice is shockingly bad.

@lexifour Adrian is a horridly underrated bassist. DragonForce tends to mix the bass track so low that you can barely ever hear it.

@TheBarrelMan2 the only songs i hear the bass is Last Journey Home, Heartbreak Armageddon, Reasons To Live, Fury of the Storm, Cry For Eternity and Body Breakdown..the only song that u can hear it clearly is for a few seconds in a bass solo...u need to have good ears to listen to the bass in the background...ppl get confused sometimes and say there's no bass in this band >.<

@reaperontherun716 DragonForce should learn to mix their songs better. The bass should be audible to anyone regardless of what audio equipment or ears they have. I can hear the bass in almost every song, but one has to listen very carefully.

@reaperontherun716 Another way to hear the bass in TTFAF and Fury of the Storm is to play them in GH. It can be heard bit better than normal but not too well. Damn that the bass can't be heard.

However, "Body Breakdown" from the same album has a brief slap bass break at about 4:14. Actually, Body Breakdown is one of the few DragonForce songs where the bass is loud and clear, and holy fuck, the bass playing in that song can get pretty crazy.

@passionoflovers In Cry for Eternity? Those are non-distorted electric guitars playing the leads at around the 4:50 mark. That's definitely not bass. I think you need your ears checked.

On top of that, learn to read. I never said that "Body Breakdown" was from Sonic Firestorm. When I said "the same album," it was in reference to "Cry for Eternity," which is in Inhuman Rampage.

@GYouBig I obtained the tracks of this song ripped from Guitar Hero (there are downloads available), and put all of the non-vocal tracks together. Then, I took the vocal track (which, unfortunately, also contained a keyboard track and a rhythm guitar track) and removed the center pan to get rid of most of the vocals. I also cut certain parts out of the vocal track, which is why the keyboards are mostly missing. I used the free application Audacity for all of this.

@ginodebrabander I know. I can't really fix that, unfortunately, since the vocals were on the same track as the keys and certain rhythm guitar bits. I removed them to the best of my ability, but it's impossible to entirely remove the vocals unless I have every single track separated. Also, the quality of these rips isn't the best. I'm hoping for some better ones to come out soon so that a better instrumental version can be made.
