@chitownbowhunter Some quick tips: When using pro versions, you can access many additional features. By pressing Ctrl-Alt-B, you can add ghosting effects to your project by right-clicking on the track on the bottom that had opened, going to insert envelope, and choosing motion blur. Pro also allows for masking, which you can access from the pan/crop window. There will be a small track under the main "Position" track called "Mask" where you can use the masking tool to cut out things.

@chitownbowhunter Oh, I have all of the full movies on my computer. I used a program called Magic DVD Ripper to rip the movies from my DVDs onto my computer. Now they are all in .avi format and I can import them into Vegas to use! I bought Magic DVD Ripper also, it's awesome! I recommended it to anyone who needs to get the movies from DVDs.

@chitownbowhunter The fireworks are just clips that I downloaded. I put them in a track over my other tracks and then applied a track setting to get rid of the black background.

For the "change colors" I think you are referring to an effect in Vegas called "Color Corrector (Secondary)"

How much did you pay for your sony vegas editor????

@strongstar2 She bought Sony Vegas Pro 9 and it was the slip slevee version and it was 169$ and this was sony vegas pro 9 and 10 slip slevee version were out and there are no more version of the slip slevees(I think) becuse i bought the later version of sony vegas pro 10.0 slip slevee and after i bought it i didn't see it on Amazon anymore or Ebay and sony vegas pro 11.0 will be a slip slevee to but i don't recommented pro 11.0 i say go with 9 8 or 7 becuse i heared there the best.

@strongstar2 Yep, I paid $169 for my Sony Vegas Pro 9. I got it for a special deal in slip-sleeve version so it didn't come with all of the other pro software like DVD Architect Studio and that sort of stuff. I don't think there are any more available in the slip-sleeve version because they sold pretty fast.
