I lost the same plane last week with the same problem, i was using spektrum A6000 a the servos did'nt resist. but i was flying slowly. bad trash servo.
Dude..... That was dumb, cause you had the throttle on 80% to 100% speed. That can cause the vibrations to the Reciever and overiding it. Only, if you had no controls of the wings or the plane.
That is not throws or lose of rudder. the plane is inverted and taking a nose dive. so either something broke, or the pilot got confused and panic froze. seems it never tried to pull out at any point.
Been down that road before. had all the sheeting come off one side of a wing, on the bottom. seems when I trimmed the covering, I cut the leading edge, on the bottom side. had a expert next to me that landed it safely. First thing I did was head straight up, then hand it to him.
@Zmann36 i take off with full throw on all the surfeses just in case shit happes,it dosent matter how much throw he took of with,he never did any hard manuvers or even use full deflection on any of the surfeses.
@Zmann36 I have one rate on all my planes. Max throw. There's no rule stating you must use low rates for take off and landing. It's just suggested for morons who can't fly on high rates without overcontrolling. Looks to me like a failure to the rudder linkage the way it was tail wagging when it started rolling over.
@saito125 I've been in this hobby for over 20 years. I know what I'm doing. I guess you must be one that can't fly on 3D rates the whole time or has never had a rudder linkage or cable fail. It looks just like that. Come talk to me when you know anything about giant scale.
oh that sux was anything salvagable? Hey look at the bright side, you got it off of the ground, and brought it back with the engine and radio equipment
thats why you are supposed to have rates or flight modes....Yes we all want 50 degrees of movement, but not on take off, much less on a maiden flight. even on 3d mode , if you use the right servos and have the linkages set up correctly fluttering should not be an issue
he lost the elevator.... i crash my katana 50 ..two weeks ago... my crash was just like this...

That's the saddest video I've seen. I just got my H9 Extra 260 flying last week. No problems....yet. Gulp! Radio interference?

Pinned surfaces? servo torque up to job?

man that sucks...any idea why it had the flutter?
tulz43 5 years ago
Let me guess: not enough aileron stiffness for given speed. As always with the flutter.
krbosak 4 years ago
more likely that the hinge gap was not sealed or the servo stripped a gear.
fatfashion 4 years ago
ok it makes more sense. the crash produced only after some 30s of vibrations.
