To those with nasty comments all I have to ask is 'why?' Do you think you're going to change a fans views by swearing etc? Have you nothing better to do with your time than watch bands you don't like and write comments? Kind of seems sad to me. Theres plenty of bands I don't like but strangely I don't take the time to seek them out on youtube. Are you that insecure that you need everyone in the world to share all your tastes?
@Rexicano Man, if only Ian had long ago hired a personal adviser like you to give him some perspective, he could have entertained millions, and led one of the most distinctive rock bands instead of boring them all with ridiculousness. Oh wait, I guess he somehow managed to do that without your helpful advice. Be the way, since you know more about how not to bore people than Ian, I assume your band is kicking his band's ass? Where can we buy your latest disc?
The problem is Ian ran out of good ideas long ago and now we get this warmed over "entertainment" which is clearly all you seek. Some of us look for art in our music and this is DOA. Gregorypeckory sounds like a 12 year old crybaby. I'm sure I don't ever want to hear your noise, or "entertainment" on a CD. Feel free to continue your tour of the Wax Museum.
This is an amateur effort by a guy in the audience with a videocam. Excuse the poor quality audio. But honestly, I have heard and seen better results of concert videos taken with phone cameras
@TheBillyGtube To say you don't like it is one thing, but "fucking stupid"? That's fucking rude. Did it ever occur to you that Ian might read the comments? If so, and those are the only words of yours he ever reads, how does it feel to know that instead of the soul food that comments from fans ought to be, yours would be a slap in the face? Has he not entertained you at least a little over the years? Show some manners.
How i love this kind of combinations!!!!! Music (art in general) is a universe , I can't understand how people can live hearing the same things over and over again.

Just been tonight to see her in Liverpool. Fantastic concert:-) She combined Sitar with Flamenco, based on her album Traveller. I met her afterwards and got my copy signed:-))
Wow, I would've never guessed Jethro Tull turned out to be this cool; I'm thrilled to death to find this vid I saw them live in the early 80's in Indianapolis, IN. I followed Ravi Shankar since the early 70's and now his daughter (I believe, I follow her work. Love it!! Thanks so very much!
For the young person with the derogatory remark "kicking gestures" Those are Ballet moves called posse' Ian Anderson is a very cultured & brilliant artist with amazing diversity. Regards
In a public performance making a kicking gesture at the audience isn't really respectful. This is not part of Eastern culture. Fusion music is great as long as artists on either side can bring their very best music and etiiquette to the stage. Being disrespectful of an eager audience is not a sign of a great artist. Regards.
@ritubahar You do not know of what you speak - you know nothing of Ian's foot/leg movements nor why he is doing them. You are a fool to make those statements.

What rubbish...Anderson is still acting like his bullshit flute playing and jumping around on one leg are not boring and ridiculous.
He acts like his brain cells melted away in the 70s someplace. The Indian flutist has more soul in one phrase than Anderson could ever hope for.
Ian; try writing some new material and get some tunes that hold up without all the tired old faux dramatics.
Sad to see Anoushka up there.
I've seen amazing drummers with less than a quarter of this gear. What a joke.

Too much distortion, the microphones were either cheap, or too close & the music too loud.

I agree, there would be many better Tull songs to add a Sitar to, but it's the one most people know.
