When I put the MF barrel on my gun it looses like 30 feet in range and the balls are barely coming out. I have to be about 40 feet away for it to break. My stock barrel shoots fine but the MF doesnt can anyone help

@theECLIPSEman89 Accuracy is not necessarily determined by the barrel. There's a lot more physics behind it (Punkworks did an extensive study on it. Check them out here on Youtube). Basically all barrels have the same potential for accuracy. Now between the Apex and the Stiffi, it's all about what you prefer. If you like longer range and the ability to control the curve of your paint, then keep the Apex. If you want a light weight gun that shoots really quietly, go with the stiffi.

carbon fiber is stronger and lighter than steel...that's why they use it. you'll strip the steel before you strip the carbon fiber.

OK! i am not even going to do a shooting video of my stiffi mf because it's not worth it. when i compared my 14' stiffi mf .687 to my stock pmr 09 barrel, well the pmr barrel blows this thing out of the water. it's not even close. my friends invert mini with a 12" smart parts freak .687 insert blows it away as well. DO NOT BUY THE STIFFI MF BARREL. SAVE YOUR MONEY.

I am going to get this barrel tomorrow for my 2009 PMR. i will let you know in a video how good the barrel is compared to my proto 2 piece. i will also compare the new invert mini with a freak kit. both barrels will have a .687 bore because we will be using cheap paint. i cannot wait!

my azodin carbon wrapped barrel just came. it weighs 80grams when i measured it and it says 81g on the packaging. (i got the 14" .691 in polished blue with cocker threading) i also got my friend a 14" .691 but his is matte black and in spyder threading.the porting on it is nice but not much quieter then a stock dp g3 barrel(i have a G3) but its nearly half the weight and about a half inch longer.also its not a carbonfiber barrel,its a carbon WRAPPED aluminum barrel so no issues w/ barrel swabs.

i see my self diving in to a bunker and completly shattering a carbon fiber barrel they say cf is 10x stronget than steel pound by pound but throw a 250# going 15mph straight in to the ground the barrel will break

remember 48-50/3000 will only give you about 500 shots per fill (usually around 430 440 befor you have to get it filled again)

the 45/4500 will give you about 575 per fill with half the weight (about 475 per fill)

68/4500 will give you almost half a case of paint per fill

the difference between the tank is the high side fill of the tank the 4500 will roughly shoot 5 more balls per cubic inch of air (3k psi 10 balls/ci 4.5K will give you about 15 balls/ci)

The 50/3000's are steel tanks and weigh really heavy. They are always cheap. The 4500 is MOST likely carbon fiber and weighs much lighter as well as having a larger capacity, allowing for more shots to be let off on 1 tank. Overall, I would recommend a carbon fiber 45/45 or 68/45 if you want to empty close to a case on 1 fill.
