  • fucking incredible

  • Respect my bro. home made googles - no fins - pice of rubber and wood for gun. Wicked '

    Tu meke!!

  • If you can be relaxed in the water, it is surprising what you can do! (safe alert: do not try this alone!)

  • 53 dislikes are the family and relatives of the fish, i guess.

  • 2:39... that is is an ABSOLUTELY far fetched idea.

  • I have seen with bare eyes someone who could pretend to sleep underwater, a lot of more minutes than the man in the film. He resurfaced just because they were about to go home. He was a kid in Wakatobi, but not a Bajau. Bajau is the sea gypsies tribe, you can find them in some countries, especially in Wakatobi, South East Sulawesi, Indonesia.

  • now i noe hw Mj realize the technique of moonwalk. obviously, mj inspired it under water.

  • Oh... no words, amazing...

  • i respect him unbelieveable

  • un fucking real

  • somebody please buy that man a real mask and some fins.

  • vaaaaaaaaaaaaaaapooooooooooo malucoooo de deuus

  • whats the point of even doing this. Why not wear an oxygen tank?

  • @GageGuerra11

FYI these bajau people, they live in "less hospitable" world, u think they could afford to buy one bail out bottle and regulator? yeah rite... go and donate them one aleast...

I'm working offshore nearby Sabah, where these bajau people always come alongside our diving vessel and sell fresh grouper, lobster and mackarel for a damn cheap price, cheaper than u thought...

  • amazing!!! natural free diver.... he sure earned his meal!

  • how does he manage the ear pain? I've only gone below 5m and it hurts like hell...

  • @CrimelabS you must equalize, look it up on youtube or pm if you whant more help

  • @SousaJohnny u got any links/recommendations to any good vids on equalizing?

  • Uncles and grandfathers can do this easily as we are adopted to hunting and fishing.

  • for anyone who saying it fake. stop watching disney and learn the world, this guy is a sea bajau people (pala'u). native tribe in indonesia and other archipelagos country in pacific... which mean they are tribe who living nomadic in remote islands in this archipelago. they are already in touch , familiar and trained with the ocean since they were a kid. their spirit attached to the sea. everyone here know bajau peoples is great diver and swimmer, they could conquer ocean with their harpoon....

  • is he underwater???

  • superhuman @_@

  • eVolution

  • This is fucking remarkable.

  • who said faaaake .... he is still in the past...

  • FAKE

  • It's nothing compared to free divers such as Nitsch, Nery or Trubridge. But it is freediving in it's most useful and basic and natural form. I love it.

  • Hey guys I have something that really works

    1:Hold breath for 20 minutes

    2:DIE

  • @benyboy456789 Actually your will to breath will over power you and you will breath. That's why when people drown they have water in their lungs. Plus if that somehow didn't happen you would just pass out. Sorry

  • what a super human!!

  • what a super human!!

  • what a super human!!

  • what a super human!!

  • woooow fantastic

  • WOW

  • I tried to dive into sea before, but my body tend to float up when i hold my breath.

How did he WALK on the bottom,,,amazing

  • @sasuibe You just have to go deep enough. Then the air in your lungs will be compressed and your will not float.

  • See him walking so slow underwater?? That's because he has HUGE BALLS!!

  • Que Vola Buscando A NEMO xD

  • @makeupchick707 oh wow. heaps of likes on it. haha. my comment never gets old! :P thanks. :D

  • whats up with his hands and feet?

  • fake...

  • @jwb864 It isn't fake...

  • Look out ladies cuz you know he don't love you, this Sublin dude is one bad motherfucker..

  • 5 MINS?? WTFFFFFFFF

  • i TRIED TO HOLD MY BREATH FOR AS LONG AS THIS VIDEO....FAIL

  • Anyone else not even make it to the seabed before breathing? xD

  • this is incredible.

  • i'm an alien, and i find this amazing.

  • You would think he would of got a bigger fish then that

  • @171candy bigger doesn't always mean tastier. it was definitely the bigger one out of the ones around.

  • AN Adiiction =

  • 5 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    holy crap

  • the narrator's voice sounds like the dragon in the tv show Merlin.

  • @alehax27 it's the same guy that narrates for Merlin tv series (by BBC as well). His name is is John Hurt. A very famous British actor.

  • humans are amazing

  • Play this video muted while having the song" sexy and i know it" on . LOL

  • imagine if that after all that he missed to shot....

  • amazing.

  • JESUS FUCKING CHRIST!

  • This was filmed off Brighton pier....

  • @khatykat36 lol

  • Why this channel (BBC) is not avaliable in my country? Brazil.

  • Not so long ago, say 50 thousands years ago, the same human as today lived in far less hospitable world and survived.

  • @AzraelAscoli

lol, there is no doubt that this guy lives in a 'less hospitable' world compared to those of us that comment on the video as it is. humans adapt to survive. he's adapted to diving deep to catch a fresh and tasty meal, we've adapted to having junk food delivered to our door.

  • @banjhankri we've also adapted to being smart as shit compared to him

  • there are incredibly stupid comments below.. Any healthy human can do this with the proper training. I am not saying its easy because it is not, at all. But its possible, most of the people have no idea that their physical capacity far exceeds what we expect.

  • @AzraelAscoli very true

  • I had to take 6 breaths in his 1.

  • poor fish. it too small.

  • this dude needs to go on Survivor

  • Human are awesome. Bajau man is awesomer!!

  • There's an app for that

  • 술루 해에 사는 바다 집시 바자우 족은 물 위에서 대부분에 시간을 보내는 탓에 육지에 발을 디디면 속이 울렁거리는 육지병을 앓는다!

  • Don't forget ear pressure xD

  • after watching this video, i held my breath for 1 minute and 10 seconds lol, and felt my fuckin guts collapsing.

  • @ryanwegner2010 At 20 meter you will be able to stay 10 sec :) just pressure

  • my lungs hurt from even watching this :D

    wow i adore this man.

  • imagine what he can do with flippers

  • 2:08 Headshots

  • @3DHeaven Try living on a remote island for your whole life, you can eat plants, but you'll need the protein that meat can give you. In order to get the protein: hunt.

  • @BlackAndThrash

Most grains have 70% more protein than any meat. Soya and beans have more protein than meats... Elephants are super large mammals and they eat just vegetables.... so . if u read the right stuff u will see how this is true.

  • @3DHeaven Meat > Vegetables.

  • how does he sink so well??

  • I can hold my breath for a max of 30 seconds.....

  • @BlackAndThrash He doesn't just breathe in then hold his breath, he does something called "Packing" where you swallow the air you breathe, afer many times of doing this you'll be able to hold your breath much longer. See any free-divers videos.

  • Maaan, i also took a huge breath after he surfaced loool

  • Amazing :)

  • he makes it look so easy. amazing.

  • And they say human evolved from apes...

  • imagine his face when you tell him about fishing rods for the first time.

  • @FliptopTwister if he knows about mechanical harpoons he probably knows about fishing rods. my guess is that the fish he's hunting live too deep for fishing rods.

  • @Gumbo550 shithead hes 30 meters down..thats a little less then 100 feet

  • @FrenchToastify 20m thats 60 feet

  • @FliptopTwister omg lol so gooooood lollolololrofl

  • Or, you can just you a fishing line...

  • 46 gayfishies disliked this

  • After 1 Minute & 3 Qts he spots a fish? I saw like 200....

  • Congrats BBC!

  • He do it like a baws ;)!

  • Tout en pureté !

  • the "Beast Mode" top comment was way better

  • My countrymen doing everything just to provide food for his family. I bet he only achieved this 'cause he needed to because of the lack of jobs and being seperated on land. Just goes to show what peole can do when push comes to shove. Proud to be filipino

  • Human dive reflex. We all have it. As soon as your face hits cold water your heartbeat slows and your body circulates less blood to the extremties, concentrating the most blood flow between the heart and brain, and lowering the total oxygen requirement of the body. Pretty awesome really.

  • @ssimon64 based on the video the water seems at normal enviromental temperature. Therefore, your statement would only be true if the water is freezing cold. That's when it causes a left shift in the hemoglobin dissociation curve. At hypothermia state is when your body will respond to what you have described.

  • if this guy was a woman he could easily give birth to fishes

  • Wow! This goes to show, that if there is zombie apocalypse, technology has stolen the ability of survival for modern men. How many people have we known that can actually dive 20 meters to get food? Amazing!

  • S9025

    Lmao!!! I didn't even notice

  • just goes to show how amazing man really is. theres hardly anything at all that we cant do.no place we cant go.and if theres something we cant do and a place we cant go today, tomorrow we will.

  • i held my breath when i was watching this

  • imagine his achievements with modern gear!

  • holly shit this is cool i want to do this man

  • Damn he looks like Manny Paquiao...wahahaha Proud to be Filipino...

  • @derektor082208 he does to hahaha

  • @derektor082208 I think the Bajaus are mostly in Malaysian part of Borneo now...and I think Manny's a lot shorter lol.

  • @ReasonorRage Due to escalated conflicts in their native Sulu Archipelago, and discrimination in the Philippines with regards to education and employment, most of the Bajau have migrated to neighboring Malaysia over the course of 50 years..They are NAtive Sulu people but pushed away by the civilized Filipino too sad huh...

  • I can't hold my breath for 30 seconds, on a couch.

  • Look at his thumbs on 0:12 =S

  • My next job! ;D

  • the cameraman was a freediver (-;

  • Nice butt cheek

  • The idea is not just how long you hold your breath it is also the idea of movement

I have seen a person who free dives to 20 meters to catch a fish in two mints and a half

The more you move deeper or release energy the less time you can hold your breath.

  • @azzz999m

Yeah, like u said holding your breath in it´s own is not the problem it´s the fact that u have to move and go so deep into the water that makes this so much more amazing!

  • Wow crazy!!!!!!! He must be part of fish's family lol

  • Omg

  • Imagine what could be able to do with a wet suit and fins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!................

unbelievable.... Only a few poelpe around the world can reach these extraordinary leves of breathless...

  • wow nice underwear bro

  • amazing adaptation!

  • u can find race of bajau at west n east of sabah in malaysia,.

  • trippy as fukkk

  • it is people like these that will help the world with their genes to create the next generation of superhumans =D

  • @IncrediblyStupidName Well if you want to stay under water like this then you only need to learn to suppress the instinct to breath, the ninja of japan were trained to suppress the instinct

  • @IncrediblyStupidName its all about conditioning mate, not genes.

  • Kevin Costner looks weird in HD :O

  • This is real yoga...

  • Comment removed

  • WOW

  • wow. this made me anxious watching this. just the thought of me trying to do something like that is... wow. i could never. the human ability to adapt is incredible.

  • I only could hold my breath 64 secs

  • @MrEyeSea Try again after you have relaxed and gotten your pulse down to resting levels.

This guy is awesome though i can hold my breath a long time but my all my highscores worth anything are on land without any body movement. this guy swims and walks around for up to my own record resting in a bed.

  • @ficfan1 Biggest problem is the pressure...

  • @MrEyeSea quit smoking

  • Only in the Pacific!

  • This is quite an eye-opening series really.. I mean everyone compares animals to people. They run faster, fly, swim, hunt. But we all forget, so do we. Humans live on EVERY continent and have been to the Moon. And after seeing this, god knows whatrwe're capable of. Long live mankind!

  • Holy fuck

  • Magnifique , du vrais a l'ancienne, impressionant

  • Amazing

  • He has too big lungs

  • This is just amazing.

  • Amazing

  • proof that spearfishing is more badass than anything you could ever do

  • @Meck1786 driving a formula 1 car is about 40 times more bad ass.

  • @larz26 keep living in fantasy land, lol. this is amazing, but not the most bad ass thing you can do. BY FAR. this is just a awesome example of a amazing human.

  • @abyssal666nocturnus Whats so special about being able to drive a car around a track? Sure its dangerous, but its not exactly a great feat of physical prowess.

  • @femmeamor This is no doubt a amazing physical achievement. I can point out various reasons why formula driving requires physical capability as well, like operation under high g force, insanely fast reaction time, or even the fact that a driver can die instantly from hitting a wall at 200mph..I honestly would say this diver is way more capably fit, and also experiences a high risk level...the argument is really in the general definition of what it means to be a badass.

  • @abyssal666nocturnus And in my personal opinion, I think driving a formula car is more bad ass...this is no doubt amazing though....this man has lived his whole life adapting to this type of physical capability. Looking back, 40 times more bad ass was a overstatement...but I still think F1 is more badass ahah

  • okokokokokok

  • Hes part man, part shark.
