its about convienence jackass. not everyone buys a car based on whats under the hood. its a little more complicated then that. you know, like if you have a job, if the car is going to be a daily driver, if the population where you live is more then 7 and traffic can be an issue. but i guess that would be expecting you to think. my fault.

If you live in a crowded city like new york, there is absolutely no point in having a modded, or fast car in general. However, if you live in a small city like i do, it is great fun to have a modded car because you can get a adrenalin rush..

But you can discuss this topic forever. Having a modded car has something to do with your character and the way you would like the rest of the world to look upon you- if not, why don't we all drive a Kia?

i was only responding to n35003's quote on convenience. I agree with him, but then on the flip side, if that is the case, it shouldnt be modded as an automatic. I have modded my own z with ATI procharger on 10psi makin 480whp and 460ft/lbs. Im totally for modding, but it should me manual then.

Re-reading this topic, i come to think people who drive KIA's are smarter than the ones driving in a peugeot or citröen.

My father is an auto technician, and he just have had 2 month old peugeot and citröens in the garage, both having faulty rust coating, and the peogeot's locking system unlocked the doors when we made popcorn in the garage's microwave-oven - LOL!
