  • Also I made one my self ( succesful affter 6 months ) a few tips are use flaperons and keep your motor where it is but put one in the back just like da real one

  • How is your motor mounted there

  • How about building a 50mm SU-27. Great channel.

  • Needs stability with the thrust. Not just adjusting to the CG.

  • when something is done nicely...i compliment it...plus i love the canopy. really cool. by the way..how much could a finished model go for?

  • @saworieza Thanks. The cost of material and electronics for this jet are around $250 (includign a cheap transmitter)

  • shame its made of paper

  • @Pringles352 Yeah, I wish I could hamede it from gold.

  • @MikeysRC lol im not having a go.. its far better than anything i would be able to do.. i wish i did know how to do all this cool RC stuff u see on youtube but i have no idea

  • @Pringles352 WellI have a coule beginner planes with how to build videos. Everything is shown in small steps for you to follow. Look up my Sport Trainer video. You might have a go at that one =).

  • @MikeysRC k. im gna subscribe:)

  • How to you make the moving edf did you attach servos t it or something

  • @campbell2643 Yeah there is a servo attached to the EDF.

  • Love the canopy could you show us how to make I or you can make plane or just give is specs and show use how to make it

  • @RcTranMD Yeah just stay tuned. I hope to release the plans in the near future,.

  • Mikey,

Amazing this project! Can you send me the plans?

  • @MikeysRC you should maybe try to follow the orignal design, like two turbines, maybe the rear turbine only rotating 90 degrees and the front turbine not rotating staying at 90 degrees

  • why doesnt it have a landing gear??...

  • @HaDaBoiZ To save weight. Anything that's not completly nessasary for flight is removed. Landing gear also creates drag in forward flight......inless it retractable but then it would weigh even more thus making it harder to acomplish hovering flight.

  • @MikeysRC why not make the whole thing bigger??... in that thing i think you can have more stuff to put onto it... just a wild guess... lol...

  • @HaDaBoiZ Yeah I might end up having to do that. But my goal was to keep it as affordable as possible. Bigger = more money.

  • @MikeysRC i adore this thing i might just make one with your ideas... i made one of your planes like the "sport trainer" i just dont have the electronics put onto it... the costs of goods here in the philippines are too expensive... i wish i could buy from you guys... (T-T)...

  • @MikeysRC i wish i could make one... in this case i don't have the money to afford the parts here in the philippines... they are too expensive... can i buy and ship the parts from your shop??... they say parts there in other country are cheaper...

  • so cool

  • I think a c-130 4 engine prop plane would be awesome

  • @RCschuback O...HA you are right thanks. I'll fix it =).

  • u gonna do a eurofighter or did u or what? this is the first time ive seen one of ur videos

  • I like what you do M8.

Great mods . Thanks for sharing with us.

  • what state are you in???

  • Man! I don't know how I've missed your channel all this time! I subbed! I do have one question about this video: is it not possible to keep the throttle up all the way to touchdown? Its not a prop after all!

  • This is great stuff. Can't wait to see more on this project :)

  • that was so cool mate

  • Great flight! With that wind blowing great pilot skills. Well done on the build

  • I like all your rc planes that you make :)

  • @RcWorld7 The EDF is suppose to have 1200 grams of thrust. So on paper it should work.

  • leadfeather was really successful with his VTOL F-35 using a 3 step transition process using prop motors. you are taking on a serious challenge using EDF to power your version. I'm hoping you succeed but I feel there will be lots of failures on the way due to the inefficiencies of EDF's. good luck Will, I'm rooting for you.

  • @wildhover whoops- I misread your video title since I'm viewing it on my mobile phone. if your going for STOL and not VTOL, then I'm sure your model will work fine. good thing i watched it twice!

  • Genius at work :)

  • Great job

  • you do good work Mikey. vto's are so hard to find the balance points to thrust vectoring. good luck.

  • i dont think that edf will have the thrust to do vtol but i like the plane anyway great job

  • Cool plane, reminds me of the one in GTA san andreas:)

  • Amazing stuff

  • hey man, the best vtol i´ve ever seen. you got it, a few small changes still, then it is perfect. youre the best, will.

    greetings from germany , bill.

  • what about the gyrocopter XD

  • You should get in contakt with rcsuperpowers they hav experience with f-35 v-tol aircraft

  • o wow great job looking forward too more.

  • Sweet... looking forward to this

  • Did you give up on the A-10? I thought you were coming out with a build video.

  • @mosquito08873 Give up?....I did finish the plans and they are avaliable for download from my website. I am still planning on doing the how to build videos fior the A-10 but it is pretty easy to build. Download the plans and try =).

  • I am not familiar with the DX6i, but if it has programmable mixes, you should be able to mix elevator (spoilerons) with the motor rotation to enable a smoother shift to VTOL

  • @pushinold Basica elevon mixing is easy. But I found that the my flaps wouldn't work properly with elevons. So I used the two mixes avaliable and also set the plane up using dual ailerons mixed to each other. I know it sounds kinda weird but it works.

  • @MikeysRC That is just the way you have to do it, also the mixing is equal between the elevons different movements. When I built my first mono-wing, I had about 120% movement one direction and about 80% the other. So I had to set it up same as you with dual ailerons, and used only one mix to tie in the elevator. You should be able to do it with only one mix.

  • sick you got where rcsuperpowers never did.

  • Good work Will.....Looks very promising...

  • wow this is really cool

  • Neat stuff.

  • You, Sir, are a genius

  • Nice, Just keep up the great work.I would like too ask how much does it weight with and without electronics.

  • @coolwaterhubby The airframe is about 250 grams and the total weight RTF is about 1062 grams.

  • Nice job!!! Let's see a hydroplane... that can handle on water, ground, and air!

  • yess more more!!

  • Damn... still processing, 240P quality :D
