  • That is a beautiful car. My dream has alway been to own a 1988 and a half black on black lamborghini countach quatro valvo. So far I have collected 4 lamborghini key blanks and I keep one on my key chain to remind me of my dream. One I will fulfill that dream and here those twelve cylinder sing!! Great video RH DSD

  • heard of this a few years ago but never got to see it, this is jaw dropping. lamborghini themselves should give you some props. maybe some bull emblems or something

  • Did you blow a hole in your foundation to get the car out ? Awwwwwwsome !! That's some funny shit ! Love the fab work

  • How much time and money, and well, it's still a major challenge to realize this as everyone's dream come true-car. I live in MN, and I've seen some real Countachs around, even later models since Chrysler revitalized them with the Diablo. There was a fear that Countach might go bankrupt at one time

  • @MetallicBill i've never seen a countach in MN but i have seen a 2 diffrent gallardos

  • Maybe it would've been easier to buy the "Real Deal" if you have that kind of cash, but buying the car is the easy part... The expense of maintaining it is where things tend to go sour 4 all of the "Why not buy the real thing folks":) Everything, and I do mean everything that needs to be serviced on the real deal is in the thousands & usually start for the simple things around $5k & up... Hats Off My Friend!!! YOU DID AN AWESOME JOB INDEED!!!

  • Only question, the windows are down in all the videos, I know the angle is a bear and that is why only the bottom half ever came down. Do the function on this car? BTW best looking hand built I have ever seen!

  • @hotmercedes

Your suspicions are correct. No the windows do not go down. The real car has the lower portion drop about 2.5" before it stops. I say what's the point? It is a fair weather car so I decided to leave the window totally out for fresh air input. I am glad you like it. I don't post here much and I thank everyone for the kind responses.

  • That's a real love between man and a car

  • BOSS

  • you make it hard to hate on replicas, im in aww

  • My GOD!! Great work.. Love all these vids you have..

  • The patience with the english wheel to get everything that exact just blows my mind.

  • When Ken is done with this car, it needs to be put into a museum...

  • @airwhenm Why?

  • How much did it cost to build? Would it be cheaper to buy?

  • verry nice ;D

  • Amazing and inspiring.

  • Perfect 10!Lamborghini should envy you.

  • Nice work this is art

  • Its a shame how someone puts a lot of time and effort to replicate a car and then neglect the interior, it would have been nice if he tried to replicate the original interior also.

  • Better than the original!!

  • Congrats! Excellent

  • inspirational is the only word!

  • One *ss wipe gave it a thumbs down. WHY? I want to laugh at the people that will say it's not real to quality replicas like the Prova, Sienna or Mirage replicas. They are the same people that DON'T have 10 grand for a clutch job (good for about 10k miles) or 12 grand for a engine out service (basicly a complete tune up) on a real one. There is NO denying this is a great car. This guy built this from scatch and I have a hard time asembling a kids bike.

  • @jws2 It was probably mr Lamborghini LOL I gave it a thumbs up :-)

  • Incredible work, and honestly probably a much better car than the one it was copied from! Fantastic job, Who says americans don't know how to do anything!

  • This car is amazing ....I bet the fit and finish is better than the real car.....Outstanding work!!!!

  • Rainman - he must have payed the car x4 before it was finished.

  • magnifico!!!

  • Nice work! 10 years is a long time, it shows real dedication....

P.S. Was a bit hard to hear what you where saying because the music was loud :)

  • With the resources available to him, it is as good a job as anyone could have done. So, I mean him no disrespect by saying this: It is not 100 % body correct. The forward wheel wells ( haunches) are overly pronounced. The real thing has more elegant lines in that respect and blend in more smoothly with the other panels!

  • great work!

  • you are good!!!!!

  • a magnificent work, dude :D I have to try it myself, would you please teach me how?:D (Harry - Jakarta/Indonesia)

  • We'll pass your comment along to Ken. Thanks for watching FFjournal TV.

  • Unbelievable. Amazing job. Make me realize it can be done.

  • Great job Ken, you're one of my mentors!

You set the bar really high...;-)

  • Wow! This Ken Imhoff car is out of control. Knowing how difficult it is to work with these materials, I can not believe the precision he achieved with an English wheel. Now that is dedication.

  • Unbelievable! Ken shows us that if you love to do something you will stop at nothing to get it done. Now, can I get him to make me a "Back to the Future" DeLorean?
