the remains of Arnor's army, Gondor's reinforcements and some elvish forces, if memory serves :) I'm not sure about the elves, though. But I do know the epilogue was meant to give you a chance to play with Arnor's units :)

this misssion is very easy if you build a number of fortresses and use the ice throwing power to the enemy units and structures. in this campaign have we got ONLY Angar??

You use tactics and positioning of your troops to overwhelm the enemy. Such as which troops you train or what ability you give them or who you attack first in the game. Everything counts.. also when to retreat and when to attack can play a vital part for winning a specific level. Just think the only goal in the game is to cripple and destroy your present/most threatening enemy(s)...... and you need REASOURCE to do this :)

To take out the packs of Arnor units in the production circle just build a fortress with Witch-King's Sanctum upgrade. I know it costs 4500 but if you manage to buy it, the enemy will be totally owned. That 'Chunk Of Ice' is very effective against masses.

It did never come when I captured it, though, too. Just mass some archers behind all gates. I say mass, because there will be tons of soldiers to break in. Also train so many Wolf Riders to take out the Trebuchets. If you manage to come to late game, purchase ice arrows for the masses you placed behind the gates. And then Rogash comes, I think, when you are not in dire need, actually. xD

I played that mission again. Just when I am in dired need. When the elves passed the second gate, Rogash comes. I taught those elves a lesson!

He comes like in the end of the elven attack so you might aswell light it in the beginning since he always comes the same time , Try to make a use of all the 3 walls.

Like if your men don't stand a chance at defeating the enemys runb up to the second wall.

Btw always build your "solider" houses near the fotress so even thou the elves conquerd the first two walls you can still buy soldiers

Maybe someone already told you but the elves have to destroy all towers and catapults on first wall. THen comes Elrond and Glorfindel ( prepare defenses near citadel then cause they are hard to beat and they much damage). After that comes Rogash and helps you defeat all Elves. That's it.

location of fortress is important i have the first one near the area where hwaldar was being held captive. once i deal with the first enemy fortress directly across the river from there. i make another fortress there and i use the ice shot to hit defenses etc until i feel i can do it without losing any of my units.

You playing that on easy mode. XD your forces what have been wiped way quicker,only reason I say that is AI keeps rebuilding the buildings,and summoning more forces quickly on harder difficulties plus if you didnt destroy that archer summoning tree in the back of there fortress they will just keep putting those bastards in as you attack until your forces are wiped.

I send all my dark rangers to first shard of pálantir and kill Arnor forces who approaches there. Then i get it and make 2 battalion of wolf riders and go take other two and repeated that. last three i just maked as much rangers as i can and ta´ked defenders out.

Dude to me the only hard level is the epilogue...

Glorfindel, Elrond and the one of the Dunedaine king are almoust no match for rogash, you have to train alot of warriors to kill him.

get medieval 2:total war then get the expainsion, Kingdoms. its much better then this game, u get like 5000 soldiers on your screen. very strategic and historical. also, the soldiers that die dont dissapear so after the battle u get a really cool carnage affect.

I personally think Isengard is the best mainly because they are more armored then Mordor Orcs, bombs, and ballistas. Angmar to me is just crap ive never been able to win a skirmish with them. Goblins are great when your enemy only has a few troops and also their Dragon hero guy rox Drogoth i think, but other then that they suck.

after the cut scene the first thing i did was i built a angmar mill and a battle tower near where i built the angmar mill and put two of the workers in the battle tower and then i got all my heros together and broke through the wall closest to the sun flare tree and destroyed it. do that first thing and you should be good to build up your army and defenses

I beat tht game (some of the levels are ridiculously hard though)

on tht level I just build a ton of fortresses in front of their base after I try to take out the trees, surround the fortresses w/ walls, upgrade the fortresses, and wait for their attacks to slow. by then I've built up an awesome army and i just open the gates and slaughter them all! MUA HA HA HA HA!

what u need to do is build walls around your area whit catipult and arrow towers with freezing ammo. then build alot of archers pikemen and catipults. attack the south fortress and get your butt back to your fortress cauz reinforcements will come and attack your fortress. Then after that build your army agian and attack the north one

jus collect as many shards as u can.

Then attack with aLOT of archers with freezing arrows and catipults. It should take 2-3 times to totalyy destroy it.

NOTE: cover your base with archer towers with freezing arrows and makes sure your catipults have frezzing ammuntion.

To use that power (Hour of the Witch King: Level 10) Click on the power and aim it at an enemy Hero, then click on whichever hero you have chosen (preferebly the most powerful or upgraded) and it will set all their powers to just used, meaning they have to wait the maximum amount of time to use their powers.
