Politics is absolutely a class war in America. The Democrats support the poor, the Republicans support the rich (EXCLUDING Ron Paul whom I believe supports the middle class). This battle between the two political parties is what has given both extreme sides so many unreasonable benefits in order to gain political leverage. All this pandering and excessive generosity has been at the expense of the middle class while both of the extreme sides have absolutely learned to depend on the government.
@Teyec00n LOLOLOLOL, THE DEMS SUPPORT THE POOR?!!?? Both parties support the rich because that's where the "campaign contributions (payoffs)" come from. There is not left or right, there is no dems or repubs. It is them with their bankster and corporate friends vs the people, nothing more and nothing less.
@Teyec00n "The Democrats support the poor"-ah let me guess, public education? The Democrats have created a welfare state that is strangling the productive members of society. That is not "supporting" anything.
When I watched Obama giving his speech, I noticed there were others sitting there with their arms crossed and not clapping like the rest of the followers. I just kept thinking to myself, "This is some bull****!" This is such a cry for votes and to salvage his election. If he were sincere, something positive should have been done a long time ago. Tax breaks? What a joke! I like the flat rate idea, if any at all. But I am all for no taxes. It's your money, you keep it...
Lastly, Americans need to realize that they are no longer the descendants of the Founding Fathers from the 18th century, rather, present day America is founded more so upon the ideas of the Marxist counter-culture of the 1960s: cults of victimology, political correctness, creeping socialism, decadent socio-cultural values etc.
Here in Ontario, the government decided to privatize one of the highways with tolls. You'd think "privatization=good" right? More "efficiency" etc. but not so. This privatization has been a net loss for the economy as few people are willing to pay to use the road which means that all the people that formerly took that highway when it was public now take the other highways, increasing congestion resulting in billions in economic losses per year, all so a few executives can make a little money.
Take for example health care. America's private health care system costs nearly double per capita that of Canada's public system; that is a gross inefficiency, the result of the fact that consumers face limited choices in who their doctor can be [i.e. imperfect competition]. Instead of paying double for your doctor, you could be using that money to consume other goods, spur on the economy. In Manitoba, the government provides car insurance at much cheaper rates than private companies in Ontario.
You are assuming markets = perfect competition which is not always the case as over-time, markets have a monopolizing tendency. The reason why perfect competition rarely/if ever exists is because of realistic problems like geography, barriers to entry [i.e. high capital costs], the innate irrationality/subjective rationality of human consumers [we are not objectively rational utility-maximizers] that creates imperfections/inefficiencies in nearly all markets.
Do you believe the Kweku Adoboli story? This is the former star trader of UBS. Hey they say he is a rogue. I do not buy that one. UBS keeps track of every penny. What is you take on Kweku Adoboli.
Great video. Just another failed stimulous program. Unbelievable how they are really screwing those who have been out of work for less than 6 months, such a dumb idea. I guess the argument against those unemployed for under 6 months is "we want to restore fairness." Ugh, the whole fairness talk from obama is just disgusting.
You will not see $1500 increase next year. 1st you have to earn $50,000 a year which most people don't. Even if you do, it will only be a $500 increase because we are already getting a 2% break on our SS tax.
Great video! I watch all your vids but don't always comment. Just want to say great vid and keep it up! Man I wish our society had the common sense that you do.

All is does is discredit everything you have to say afterwords. Give an honest and objective critique of each part of the bill (using sources) and I will listen.
Been observing the metal manipulation for a while let me warn you newbies out there not to be surprised by a head-fake move engineered by the manipulators such as the gold sell-off right before the Swiss Franc devaluation. They try this quick and dirty scam all the time to scare you away from gold and silver. Don't be fooled. No margin. No leverage. Hold fully paid positions only and hold them tight.
I did not hear of any requirement of the employers to keep the "unemployed" worker for a set length of time. So, an employer hires an unemployed person for minimum wage, gets his $4,000, keep the worker for 6 months, lays them off and hires more. This really looks like SLAVE labor. The rumbling I hear is our Forefathers rolling over in their graves.
Go long gold. Go long silver. Go long guns & ammo. Go long storable food. Expect all other investments - especially fiat dollar investments - to under perform. Instead, he drives to work in a tax-exempted Mercedes and she can barely cover her bus fare.

@visionvictory he risked what? his fiat currency that you're always talking about? Its nothing but paper. What he really did was ride on the backs of his employees to where he is at. I've always been for taxing the rich at a higher rate because quite simply people making less money can't afford for more of it to be taken out and survive.
@MzProgressive Instead of fighting over who gets the most loop holes, how about just get rid of the income tax and we all keep whats rightfully ours. Then as we make our own choices, we the people can vote to tax stuff if we want to build an army or whatever we feel government should do.
@visionvictory As a "Constitutionalist" you seem to forget that this document forbids a "standing army." If it were not for the military-industrialist rut we have allowed these neo-cons to dig for us, the population could pay for infrastructure, education AND equity in health care. Instead our wealth is diverted by the likes of Cheney and Rumsfeld. Get real.
@MzProgressive Most business do not earn their money from capital gains as does Mr Buffet, no they are trying to get their hands on your stock profits with this one and your falling hook line and sinker for it!
And why should I hire someone for a tax credit when my taxes show a loss?
@MzProgressive Warren does not take home a "income" (paycheck), his income comes from the derivatives he earns through his investments (risk). So yes, increase his income tax..that makes sense to him because he does not have a paycheck.
@noudo25 If you watched the Warren Buffet interview on Charlie Rose (Uh, that's "public" TV) the day the NYT Opinion piece was published, you would know that Buffet brought his personal tax return with him. He pointed out that HE ALSO gets Social Security Income, which IS taxed similarly to payroll.
He pointed out just what you did - that capital gains on derivatives are taxed at 15%, while payroll taxes can go as high as 34%. Therefore, he thought millionaires had an unfair tax advantage.
@MzProgressive Hmm funny why is it then that Warren Buffet's business, Berkshire Hathaway, has back taxes dating back to 2002? He wants higher taxes but yet doesn't pay his own taxes, why is that? And one more thing if he thinks he's not "paying enough taxes" why doesn't he just donate to the IRS?
Further, since Buffet brought his PERSONAL income tax filing to the Charlie Rose show, and said that HE paid $26K in personal income taxes, I expect you are mixing apples and oranges - corporate vs. personal.
Oh and BTW, Buffet just invested $5 Bil in floundering Bank of America, I expect he HAS already MADE a "donation" to the Fed monetary scheme!
@MzProgressive It was in the news. Just do a search on Buffet owes back taxes, the Ny Post says it, Newsmax, the Blaze, they all say it. On your next point, so either way he owes back taxes, taxes are taxes wither its corporate or personal, and your last point again so what, Bank of America ain't the IRS, you say you expect someone like him would shout to the world I gave money to the IRS, you shouldn't have to expect.
Obama said in his speech that these are not normal circumstances and that the changes to be made must be quick/agresive. Your comments are intellectual but out of context in a time where drastic measuresmust be taken.
@bpagan32 my question would be, if the government is running a 4 billion dollar per DAY deficit, how is this "job plan" "paid for"? The government always says "drastic measures" must be taken-they use fear and panic to get the populace to fall in line. Don't be a sheep.
Bush Jr fucked the economy more than anyone else in the past 30 years. Even so, the US economy has been in trouble since the late 70s. This crisis has been in the making for decades. It was only a matter of time before the shit hit the fan. Again, fat and lazy Americans living in a warped bubble thinking that everything will work out because, after all, America is 'blessed by God'. Wake up, America! You are now a 'has been'...and to think you are the cause of all this..and now China...wow!
Who cares about the republicans or democrats. It's the people who have the power. The problem is, people in America are fat and lazy. They can't be bothered to get off their fat asses to do something to change THEIR country. What a joke. They send these crooks, aka politicians, to Washington to do their bidding. It comes back full circle, though, because just like the people, these politicians are fat a lazy and only care about themselves. Good luck, America!
My response to Barry's speech..... where has this supposed laser like focus on creating jobs been for the last 3 years? The man is so full of **** that he wouldn't know the truth if it kicked him in the teeth.
We don't need "tax breaks" as the "Income tax" is the BIGGEST FRAUD EVER PERPETRATED ON A PEOPLE!!!!! The average American is not liable to pay or file and millions don't because they know this fact!
@PopPrepper The only thing that is INSANE about American Politics is the fact that CORPORATIONS are actually controlling the elections - they PAY for them, with their obscene campaign contributions. If you think your vote means anything consider this: The Candidates are all hand-picked before you ever enter the poll.
You want to talk "empty suit?" LOL! Check out George W. Bush - who couldn't even construct, or deliver, a sentence.
@MzProgressive I am a business owner and successfull because of my hard work. I employ people that lack the skills necessary to start and run a successfull business. I pay myself well, very well, because I can. The empty suit looser president that is now in control has never run anything, and everything he tries to run, he runs into the ground. George Bush was a hack, but obummer is a joke. I am self reliant. self sufcient, & prepared for whatever these idiots have in store foir us. Good luck
@PopPrepper Yeah good luck to you too! I hope you have hired (and no doubt underpaid) a secretary who can SPELL And Type! The word is "loser" and no spell check will pick up THAT mistake ... "looser" is what one's belt gets when their paycheck doesn't cover rising food costs.
@MzProgressive Wow, you're quite the looooser, and obviously a lowsy secretary. I can't spell very well and can't type very well either because I am missing fingers from all the years of hard work. I pay all of my hard working employees what they are worth, or they would go find better work. Quit embarrasing yourself with these lousy spell check replies. Go get a life worth living. Go ahead and give it one more good wacking if it makes you feel better, I'll give you the last word.
Daniel one thing concerning the point about house buyer's (home owner's) using the government's refi offer is that, the refi program is simply a way to help the banks not incur more non-producing morg. loans, therefore it's not a program to help the public...
Socialists always make up such schemes... just check all countries like Italy, Greece, Spain, France - I'm sure they have or were many times proposing such ideas.
The money lent to the PIGS was made out of nothing .It was lent to them knowing they could not pay it back. Fuck the banks Let them write down the loss.
variable rate loans trick and trap the poor into perpetual servitude. If banks cannot offer fair rates and honest terms to an idividual, then they shouldn't approve the loan. As far as risk for the lender is concerned, they make the money up out of thin air. I can't believe people are still defending the banks.
If we all did not agree to disagree and Disagree to Agree - get it - agree at the end things would be different. With that said. He has to answer to the Childsroth backwards spelling LOL if he challenges them it will end up like a "Kennedy" scenerio. This is what America needs to wake up to. Our System is not what we think it is. Politics is all BS - Sesame Street comes to mind.
Daniel, I agree with your comments and I too disagree with what the President said. I do respect him as President Obama and not Obama. You did address his as President. I spent 20 plus years in the military and I referred to my superiors as General Powell not Powell. I can always agree to disagree, but you get my drift. Have a great day
a good read to help understand Obama, and how Obama wants the decline and failure of the USA is "The Roots of Obamas Rage" by Dinesh D'Souza..... puts a new light on just how anti-American he really is
I think the collapse of the dollar might be a good thing , then maybe the workers in the US will be more competitive with the rest of the world. Right now it's too expensive to manufacture anything here. The workers in China make about 300 dollars a month and a worker in Mexico makes about 60 dollars a week. How can we compete with that. We won't be able to buy any cheap imported shit anymore and have to make our own cheap shit here.
i only disagree with one point. I think EVERYBODY deserves a fixed rate for a loan. variable rates are a bullshit tactic to suck money out of the poor.
@jlmiller77 What do you think the purpose of an interest is? It coordinates production across time, but it also measures risk. You are violating private contract to do that. Youre saying that someone who has good income and low debt should pay the same rate as someone who has low income and bad credit history. It's like saying that everyone should pay the same insurance premium regardless of risk.
Poor people wouldn't get any loans if creditors were required to offer them at mandates rates.
Individuals who pay less, or pay ZERO, income tax are not 'getting away' with anything. They are simply not allowing the government to steal as much as they take from everyone else. Regardless of whatever carrot is dangled in front of the American sheeple, you can bet that it will be void of logic and reason and yet coated with the sugary goodness of emotionality, suffering and indignation. The people are drunk on entitlements, unity through collectivism and delusion. .
Obama is without a doubt the biggest demagogue that I have ever seen in my life. He says he has a jobs bill and then proposes creating a bunch of government jobs, stimulating consumption and creating corporate tax loopholes.
Jobs are about production, not consumption.
We have a $600 billiion annual trade deficit with 9% (really 20%) unemployment. The issue is not lack of consumption. We need to produce what we consume. More government and easy money are not the answer.
Obama and the Democrats are doing everything that they can to hold back, control, hamper, regulate and take from businesses and those who start, own and run them. They are doing everything possible to destroy the economy. Then they scream JOBS, JOBS, JOBS.
Great vid Daniel. The Euro is toast, (as is the dollar), they just put a little gauze on a gaping hatchette wound. Amen brother, the government can not, and should not try to create jobs. Wasn't O'bummer going to fix NAFTA? I contend that 80-90% of this Jobs program act will go directly to Wall street and the banksters. Yet another stimulus to kick the can down the road. Good luck and God bless.....
Obama is trying to create jobs, but never had a real job himself, except when he worked for Baskin-Robbins.

MzProgressive 5 months ago
@MzProgressive Hmm funny why is it then that Warren Buffet's business, Berkshire Hathaway, has back taxes dating back to 2002? He wants higher taxes but yet doesn't pay his own taxes, why is that? And one more thing if he thinks he's not "paying enough taxes" why doesn't he just donate to the IRS?
FamousDave2186 5 months ago
@FamousDave2186 Berkshire owes BACK TAXES? PROVE IT!
MzProgressive 5 months ago
@MzProgressive It was in the news. Just do a search on Buffet owes back taxes, the Ny Post says it, Newsmax, the Blaze, they all say it. On your next point, so either way he owes back taxes, taxes are taxes wither its corporate or personal, and your last point again so what, Bank of America ain't the IRS, you say you expect someone like him would shout to the world I gave money to the IRS, you shouldn't have to expect.
FamousDave2186 5 months ago
@FamousDave2186 Sorry, but if you want to prove something you do the search.

Obama said in his speech that these are not normal circumstances and that the changes to be made must be quick/agresive. Your comments are intellectual but out of context in a time where drastic measuresmust be taken.
bpagan32 5 months ago
@bpagan32 my question would be, if the government is running a 4 billion dollar per DAY deficit, how is this "job plan" "paid for"? The government always says "drastic measures" must be taken-they use fear and panic to get the populace to fall in line. Don't be a sheep.
pretorious700 5 months ago
@bpagan32 drastic measures have been taken, the collapse was a result of too much government.

Mike913123 5 months ago
Who cares about the republicans or democrats. It's the people who have the power. The problem is, people in America are fat and lazy. They can't be bothered to get off their fat asses to do something to change THEIR country. What a joke. They send these crooks, aka politicians, to Washington to do their bidding. It comes back full circle, though, because just like the people, these politicians are fat a lazy and only care about themselves. Good luck, America!

@MzProgressive Yes, that is what I think....Kinda like an empty suit. Possibly insane also...
PopPrepper 5 months ago
@PopPrepper The only thing that is INSANE about American Politics is the fact that CORPORATIONS are actually controlling the elections - they PAY for them, with their obscene campaign contributions. If you think your vote means anything consider this: The Candidates are all hand-picked before you ever enter the poll.
You want to talk "empty suit?" LOL! Check out George W. Bush - who couldn't even construct, or deliver, a sentence.
MzProgressive 5 months ago
@MzProgressive I am a business owner and successfull because of my hard work. I employ people that lack the skills necessary to start and run a successfull business. I pay myself well, very well, because I can. The empty suit looser president that is now in control has never run anything, and everything he tries to run, he runs into the ground. George Bush was a hack, but obummer is a joke. I am self reliant. self sufcient, & prepared for whatever these idiots have in store foir us. Good luck
PopPrepper 5 months ago
@PopPrepper Yeah good luck to you too! I hope you have hired (and no doubt underpaid) a secretary who can SPELL And Type! The word is "loser" and no spell check will pick up THAT mistake ... "looser" is what one's belt gets when their paycheck doesn't cover rising food costs.
MzProgressive 5 months ago
@MzProgressive Wow, you're quite the looooser, and obviously a lowsy secretary. I can't spell very well and can't type very well either because I am missing fingers from all the years of hard work. I pay all of my hard working employees what they are worth, or they would go find better work. Quit embarrasing yourself with these lousy spell check replies. Go get a life worth living. Go ahead and give it one more good wacking if it makes you feel better, I'll give you the last word.

Daniel one thing concerning the point about house buyer's (home owner's) using the government's refi offer is that, the refi program is simply a way to help the banks not incur more non-producing morg. loans, therefore it's not a program to help the public...

variable rate loans trick and trap the poor into perpetual servitude. If banks cannot offer fair rates and honest terms to an idividual, then they shouldn't approve the loan. As far as risk for the lender is concerned, they make the money up out of thin air. I can't believe people are still defending the banks.

We won't be able to buy any cheap imported shit anymore and have to make our own cheap shit here.
chuc555 5 months ago
i only disagree with one point. I think EVERYBODY deserves a fixed rate for a loan. variable rates are a bullshit tactic to suck money out of the poor.
jlmiller77 5 months ago 2
@jlmiller77 What do you think the purpose of an interest is? It coordinates production across time, but it also measures risk. You are violating private contract to do that. Youre saying that someone who has good income and low debt should pay the same rate as someone who has low income and bad credit history. It's like saying that everyone should pay the same insurance premium regardless of risk.
Poor people wouldn't get any loans if creditors were required to offer them at mandates rates.

boipinoi604 5 months ago
Individuals who pay less, or pay ZERO, income tax are not 'getting away' with anything. They are simply not allowing the government to steal as much as they take from everyone else. Regardless of whatever carrot is dangled in front of the American sheeple, you can bet that it will be void of logic and reason and yet coated with the sugary goodness of emotionality, suffering and indignation. The people are drunk on entitlements, unity through collectivism and delusion. .
domainlogic 5 months ago
Obama is without a doubt the biggest demagogue that I have ever seen in my life. He says he has a jobs bill and then proposes creating a bunch of government jobs, stimulating consumption and creating corporate tax loopholes.
Jobs are about production, not consumption.
We have a $600 billiion annual trade deficit with 9% (really 20%) unemployment. The issue is not lack of consumption. We need to produce what we consume. More government and easy money are not the answer.
