We were in the audience for this captivating performance (it was May 30, not 31). The Schumann pieces were mezmerizing, and the Moszkowski Caprice Espagnol was brilliant. Di Wu is an amazing performer!

Di Wu, I believe you should be the winner of the 2009 Cliburn Competition, at least share the gold with HC Zhang. It was obvious that the judges were somewhat bias. For god sake, this is Van Cliburn, this is not Para-Van Cliburn...

um. i don't think they were being biased. i'm not saying di wu is not good (she is good) but i just don't think it's right to say that the only reason nobu got a gold was because he was blind.

Some might find this playing a bit self-indulgant, but I like the energy and imagination of her phrasing. I hope she does well in the finals - she is a really interesting artist.

I like Di Wu. She is a Finalist, which is already very good. I don't think she will be in the first three, though....Her performance of the Davidsbündler is a bit abrupt......
