This is the culmination of the Orc side of the RTS game. It is not considered cannon.

In the first game, the orc victory is cannon, in the second game, the alliance victory is cannon.

it was lame of blizz to make an mmorpg based on a RTS game.. Warcraft has always been about making ur army and buildign a base to kill ur enemies..

wow just doesn't fit the series..

and the fun part about war2 was it was actually Horde vs allience

in war3 it's more like.. 4 things fighting vs.. creeps big bad bosses..

One: I for one consider it very fun to visit your favorite locations from the game, meet your favorite (surviving) heroes and make a character that would be a badass hero in the RTS.

Two: Blizzard thought it would be a nice change of pace to force the Horde and Alliance to ally against a common enemy more powerful than the individual races. Also, you don't have to play a certain way to get a canonical ending, everyone wins. (Except the Scourge)

Amazing I have played ALL warcraft games out there (exept for that stinkin shit of WOW) and is incredible to see how much CG graphics have evolved when this game was new this kind of CG was considered revolutionary and awesome today everyone who watches it thinks is crap cgs really have evolved a lot, my eyes would have bleed if I saw todays modern CGs back in 1990 XDDD

WOW as a game is not that bad the problem is blizzard wants to continue the plotline in the MMORPG instead of the strategy game, and well.... it does not matter where you look at it it still seems like a crappy desition to me (wich do you want to see Arthas getting killed by epic chars like malfurion and Thrall or just some "alliance agents"?)

Only war the Horde won is the first... The third Warcraft doesn't really have a war amongst themselves, so much as against the Burning Legion. EVen now World of Warcraft isn't an all out war like the first two games, it's more of a skirmish between factions while fighting The Scourge, Burning Legion, and other common enemies.
