My sister has one. It's part of a Mario Paint game that you can use on your computer. I think you hook it up to a Super Nintendo or something, not totally sure. That's how ours works.
@KOSMOSinusa68 It's a music maker. You are given a good bit of musical sounds and you place them on the staff where you want them. You click the play and it makes sound, right? The next step would be to arrange them and the tempo to make your favorite song or musical arrangement, or simply make your own.
Then after that you can put your work on a video and gain glory like this fellow here.
And wow...this is your first time? You already knew about tempo adjusting with those green bars at your first time. << You're ahead of me already...XP
Damn, I agree with BrownCoatKevin. This is extremely good and I find it hard to believe that it's a "first".
Keep going, you have the talent. Just don't make songs that have already been posted on YouTube. Make new stuff to add variety. And I like the Final Fantasy. Good job!
Well, I just finished the battle theme from FFX. That one doesn't seem to have been done yet, but a lot of the Final Fantasy music has. Maybe I'll try something non-FF next.
For a first attempt, this is spectacular. The instruments are well-chosen and the tempo's perfect. The stars do get a little overwhelming in the middle, but that can't be helped due to how the volume control works. This sounds more like a "I've been working with this for a while now" composition, honestly.
The "stars" get a little overwhelming in the middle of the original (OST) version, too. ;) I considered lowering the volume on the stars that appear by themselves, but I was already recording by the time I thought of it, so I just left it as-is.
It actually didn't take as much time to compose this as I thought it would. In fact, I think it took me longer to get it recorded because I spent nearly 2 days arguing with my sound card over whether I should be able to record directly from the output.
