anyone can look at tabs and reproduce famous works of music

Hankey, with all due respect, you are quite full of shit! For one, it is a false statement that anyone can look at tabs and reproduce famous works of music.
Playing that stuff is difficult, and getting the sustain, tone and phrasing is even harder.
IF it were that easy......everyone could play Eruption, Spanish Fly etc...let alone Bach's Lute Suite in Dm.
The score for that is widely available.....and how many people can pull that one off w/o years of dedication?
