  • ここまでくると言葉など、もはや無効であるように思われてくる。映像、音楽共にアンビエントの金字塔を立てたと言える作品。見事である。

  • SIXTEEN DISLIKES??? HOW??? BAN THESE PEOPLE FROM THE HUMAN RACE.

  • One of the most beautiful albums ever made, two superb musicians creating an amazing landscape so beautiful

  • play this with rainymood in the background. Fits together perfectly.

  • this lulls me to sleep my best album! so ambient and beautiful!

  • Serene, beautiful and other-worldly. Eno: The Godfather of Ambient/chillout music - pure genius!

  • Exelente pieza

  • Excelente pieza, diina

  • so good! you guys should give Rems Floating Chandelier a listen:)

  • the piano is so touching its wasome . joker lennox

  • This literally took my breath away.

  • @djwvega

You literally were unable to breathe? Please seek medical attention or look up the meaning of the word "literally".

  • @ophello get a life dude and concentrate on the music instead of being negative

  • If this song was a pancake, it would be a really good pancake.

  • @donaldnewmanmedone I love how all of these comments are deep and then I suddenly read yours.

And for that, you deserve the biggest medal in the world.

Probably the deepest and most sincere comment of them all- Forever.

  • @donaldnewmanmedone Yes indeed, it would be the halloumi and fresh herbs pancake that I ate last week.

  • After a bad day of scrambled thoughts and unanswered questions, music so beautiful like this puts it all into perspective..

  • So kennt man Brian - Musik ist bildende Kunst. Das ist ja auch wahr, großer B!

  • Ho ascoltato ogni genere di musica ma Brian Eno è uno dei pochi che riesce a creare questa magica atmosfera di introspezione, fra sogno e poesia

  • Some of my favorite ambient music of all time...This video is great...Smoke??? Or time traveling Torii? Look up torus you'll see what I mean...

  • "Insectavora" thinks Eno turns music into warm heroin waffles

  • Reminds me of my mothers passing. When i hear this music at her grave, i see through life, and imagine the univers and all my good memories. And remind myself, there is things much bigger than me.

  • this reminds me of a piece i wrote for Gcse, only this is more ambient and significantly more beautiful to listen to.

  • Absolutely beautiful.

  • I clicked like and you've been added to my favorites. It was the music I was responding to more than anything. This is an Eno ambient release I've neglected a bit and you reminded me how great it is. The video is nice and relaxing but, I think imagery of life and nature would be more fitting for this particular style and sound but, that's just my opinion. Anybody who loves Harold Budd should check the albums he did with Robin Guthrie from The Cocteau Twins, they are just as beautiful as this.

  • semiotica musical.....repleta de signos

  • This track is the highlight of this solid album

  • A real work of art; very imaginative and original. I applaud you, and I have a feeling Brian and Harold would, too.

  • ありがとう。

  • this song is so magical, and takes me to another world

  • Beautiful.

I love the video too, so relaxing and soothing. Perfect match.

  • Chartless Infusion

  • More like.. Fryan Peeno!

  • I’m riding a bike. Its early morning and the air is crisp, the breath that escapes me is seen then unseen at a blink of an eye. I don’t know where I’m going and I don’t even care. My path is as unknown as the world around me. I’m here and glad to be awake.

  • Try to stop thinking about your own little bubble. Stop contemplating about all of your worries, concerns, and troubles. Try and see the big picture. Try and realize everything that is going on out there. Your life is one of billions, and we all exist on this little speck in the universe. Instead of dwelling on your past, and all the things you wish you had done differently, and the problems you currently face, think about how you can make a positive and significant difference in this world.

  • @raphdub - I have had this album for over 2 decades, and I have to say, until your fine work, there was no better imagery than the images in my head to go along with the finest take on a C Major Seventh ever played.

  • this is so deep it hurts.

  • I agree.Only the roads are different. The music works the same way to our soul.

  • I see........boooobies!!!!!

  • If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, then this creation forms an eye the size of earth itself - which happens to coincide with the image which most haunts me when listening to this.... Long may it live in our imaginations and dreams!

  • beautiful

  • Yes, there is a hint of melancholy to this track. I've been listening to this recording for over two decades now. It never gets old. Great visuals, also.

  • 13 people are deaf...

  • @superstella78 Either deaf or musically stunted by radio airplay.

  • Sounds very sad to me, not peaceful. Like a lost innocence...am I the only one?

  • nice really nice!!!

  • I can't help but to think how this music played a profound part in The Lovely Bones!

  • I used to ( and still do ) listen to this when driving on the backroads of the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Sometimes I would stop the car but leave the music on with sweeping vistas of the mountains and forests all around. If there was ever bliss its the sound of this piece of music combined with being so connected with such natural and dramatic beauty with nobody else around.

Even more compelling is the above scenario at night with the stars. Powerful.

  • @MVR326 I agree.Only the roads are different.I'm driving by the sea of Marathon. The music works the same to my soul.

  • This music fits perfect and deep in my dreams. Thanks Brian Eno.

  • where can i download this perfect music???

  • @faflatas15 Download the video using an online program. Or wait for them to put up a link.

  • Excelente video. Quisiera saber que programa usaste.

  • so nice.

  • Sublime.

  • quite incredible piece of music! I've had it on repeat while looking at many other sites online--Wild thing is it fit so many things I was viewing- perfect background music--thanks B.E.

  • Amazing and not only .... I would add the word, masterpiece ...... congratulations !!!!!

  • To me, this is the most important song ever made.

  • A superb video accompaniment to a sublime track from one of my all time favourite artists. Many thanks for posting this.

  • I can hear the lingeringness, coiling around, sound.

  • Ihear this song everynight till Idropped sleep.

  • Ihear this song everynight till Idropped sleep.

  • How can one DISLIKE this video? This song is sad, but beautiful at the same time. It makes me think of an animation in which a love story between two childhood friends (who become a couple, obviously) that gets broken up by one of them dying of a disease, only drawn in a crayon-type style. The 13 people who disliked this video must have no souls or something.

  • It is 1981. I pull up to the edge of a cliff in the Marin Headlands in my green BMW 3.0cs, fog blowing stiffly across me. I step out of the car, put a pistol to my temple, but don't shoot. That is this music to me.

  • Master Harold Budd on the piano, eno deepening his dulcet tones, a lovely combination.

  • so sad...

  • I like how when you put the Eno playlist on 12 or so tunes they revolve infinitely. Atmospheric therapy.

  • that's like swimming in the great ocean of sound... thank you H.Budd & B.Eno

  • Somebody have the sheets for this?

  • Physicality is an undignified burden.

I want to exist in my own imagination.

  • @alltoohuman17 nice!!!

  • @alltoohuman17 Lucid dreaming.

  • @alltoohuman17 You do buddy. That's the problem.

  • @pureloveracing ehehe - the matrix has you!

  • @alltoohuman17 A few days ago I read that matter cannot be created, however is only in our minds that things can be created, therefore aint we living on someone else "mind" ?

  • @alltoohuman17 Make imagination take control over physicality, and it's a possibility.

  • @alltoohuman17 dont we all...

  • Superstrings!!!!!!!!

  • peasssssssssssssssssss =)

  • Alice =)

  • this sounds like my DX7. So it seems my $75 bucks was well spent.

  • this song is the soundtrack to the oceans the deserts the jungles of earth it is space and time it represents the beautiful side of things what humanity really is no violence just endless time of ambient dream if the world would burn it would be okay because we were ounce in heaven that is earth life is better with no human just music that plays over nature forever

  • Must admit I don't see pancakes... I don't see anything actually, this music is undescribable and not to be visualized.

  • Comment removed

  • @Nightcat99 visualised, why not? Put into words, that's different, that's where the pancakes come in!

  • dont you hate it when idiots put music you love to stupid films, fills your head with unwanted images ! im with mr pancake x

  • This is very peaceful, nice to listen to at night and unwind with.

    ~ Melania

  • real good "job", you did!

  • I thought I was going through a "dreamscape experience" when I heard a soft sample of this music in the movie, "The Lovely Bones". It's hard to forget this song when someone mentions the movie.

  • what a perfectly lovely video for this classic piece. And I was going to quit smoking today.

  • I went craaaazy when I heard this on the lovely Bones... This is a timeless album, now more of the world can feel and hear such a modern masterpiece.

  • Time is just an illusion

  • =´(

  • Exquisite!

  • Lovely

  • There is a place suspended in time, where the majesty of the Eternal dwells.

No one reflects that timeless space of the Eternal better in music than Eno.

The Plateau of Mirror is an incredible masterstroke of passage to that tender realm.

It is a supurb rendition, of the soft effervescence of enlightened playing, that captivates the soul, and transforms the vicereal into the ethereal.

How poignant and infussive this work is!

  • Eno is gifted.

  • This is gorgeous stuff

  • ...and to think some people say there is no soul.

  • I've just bought this album about 4 weeks ago..it's incredibly evocative +is good for accessing emotions...good music to bawl your eyes out to basically..I love Mr Budd+Mr Eno..have done for a long long time....also in response to comment from Karlspurs see below....YES I truly love my mum+dad too,esp now

  • This stands as a singular item within my CD collection and along with The Pearl, an item I use for meditation. Absolutely, without question, a classic, and if I had the means, I'd stop the flow of human society & envelop it within this music.

  • i wish i had a beard, too. and yeah.. fuckin awesome, the album with harmonia 76 kicks asses!!

  • It is one of my top favorites as well. It has a strange soothing quality over me.

  • This song makes me feel so good that it brings me to tears.

  • know how ya feel :)

  • If anyone knows the guy who broadcast the "Deep Sea Show" on 3RRR during the mid 80's, can you please thank him for playing this track one night almost 25 years ago. I was sent out with a tune in my head and now I'm back to tell you what I've found.

  • It's so relaxing! I love it!

  • Amazing visuals and love Eno! *****STARS*****

    Thanks for the share ~TheBellochio/Susan.

  • amazing video

  • Sometimes at night when I'm really stressed out and I play this song, I close my eyes and see designs that look similar to these.

  • I imagine in this song, Eno as a giant spatula, flipping and flipping those pancakes of sound. The maple syrup spills over my heart and my veins are clogged with the buttery synthetic textures. I laugh as I see all of the pretenders who comment on this song, who cannot understand the glorious flapjack majesty of it all.

  • @californiamike2003

    I like pancakes too.

  • @californiamike2003 best comment ever

  • @californiamike2003

I love pancakes. Your use of a beautiful epicurean metaphor to describe this ethereal music is just so appropriate. I mainly listen to Eno and others like him

for medicinal purposes. It calms the noise in my head and I can stand the onslaught of mayhem this world brings to an innocent bystander at large.

I think I would like some glorious flapjack right now.

  • @californiamike2003 ... The glorious flapjack majesty of it all. HELL YEAH !! :-))

  • this is the worst comment in trying to describe brian eno your a moron

  • @TheLosthigh

    You can't spell monosyllabic words.

  • @californiamike2003 Flapjack majesty indeed! I love this song. There's also a light chicken mcnugget I hear in the background as well. But you gotta listen for it.

  • *.*

  • So many gimmick assholes in this comments section, mucking up the wonderful music.

The bullshit vibes are almost enough to throw off the music itself.

  • I don't see any flies... or escaping smoke... only places I've never been before, tunnels...
