For those who are wondering to get your "Archy" or "Archaeology assistant" to look like RyutarouakaTarou's all you must do is go to your "game menu" then click the "interface tab", from there you'll look in the top left corner and click "Add-Ons", then simply click the red plus on the "Archy" add-on which should be one of the first. then click general. From that point, there should be a column of boxes un-check on the left side. click "Lock Positions" and yours will look just like Tarou's.

I'd suggest leveling Archaeology in EK, for me most of the digsites are in the same area and are somewhat consistent (You get 4 up in the north, each one brings it to the mid-south areas) and you won't only be getting NE/Fossil all the time.

Useful Macro that can speed up your surveying by combining survey and mounting up onto one button.

/cast survey

/cast (shift click any mount you want)

I made this macro and the beauty of it is when your survey is on CD you can just click the macro again to mount up, it's really only useful if your mount is on different action bar from survey, its a little convenience.

i suggest leveling with archeology always when you have double xp, its little faster than guesting in nothrend. i leveled 76-80 with archeology becouse i hate northrend, 76-78 were fast becouse of double xp but then last 2 lvls were fucking boring :S
