Unfortunately all that show biz doesn't disguise the fact that this quartet does not have a true bass. What it does have is a baritone trying to cover the bass line with insufficient timbre and range. Other than that it's just fine.

Sounds like it's an augmented chord (or some other kind of tension chord) which is at the end of a phrase. It doesn't get resolved well. Which is fine, kinda adds interest in some things, just disliked it right where it was.
